This has to be from last year.  That said, the AP was still wrong last year.

Nope.  It's the poll that was posted by WTHR, and is currently up on their website.  Just goes to show that who cares what the AP says?  They don't even pay enough attention to know who is in what class.

I'm pretty certain this is last year's poll. It's what is still up on John Harrell's website.

You're absolutely right.  Just found this exact poll on the AP website, dated Oct. 17, 2023.

Not a great look at all for WTHR, which posted it as a new poll on Wednesday.

"The Associated Press released their preseason Indiana high school football poll on Monday, Aug. 19."

They have Chatard in 3A, Luers in 2A, and Harrison in 5A too.

Spoke with Mike Marot of the AP last week. They will have a poll this year, but they did not do a preseason poll (again) due to various issues.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Star has instituted its own statewide media poll - the USA Today Network poll. IMO, that will probably overtake the AP poll as the primary "media" poll in the near future.

Interesting that Cathedral is not getting any mention in the poll

I was thinking the same thing.  Cathedral at least should have been in the "others receiving votes" column.😉
