I think Maxpreps is controlled by school affiliated people. Harrell sometimes lags on the updates and I think 7pm was more of an initial default common start time state wide. Kick off is at 6:30. OlMarksmenTiger Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Just a little more reference for display of what soon could arguably be called the State Championship won at Sectional with the Final Coaches poll for whoever makes it out. Quote

Sectional stats are done for the PAC teams, just need to load the SIAC teams later or tomorrow. I added all the 16 different possibilities visualized with the Bracket. Quote
TigerFan20 Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 The spreadsheet is good to go, just waiting for a couple of teams to post week 9 stats. Just PM if you want it or I can just post it on here. Quote
RocksFan23 Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Going to HH-GS on Friday, does this got any chance to be closer than the regular season meeting? Can't wait for sectional football! Quote

Friday night will NOT be a 4 score game and this time GS will likely score a bunch. They will throw their typical 40 times a game and we probably won't be playing in a hurricane. Last year we played twice. Regular season, GS won by 3, in semi-state we won by 3. That is the kind of game I expect Friday and this game is on their field. We both have key players banged up.....we will see. Quote

It's my understanding that this broadcast can really improve one's game-time experience—or that's what I hear anyway. The pregame show always starts 30 minutes before the game. I’ll keep that in mind! With all the confusion on this thread about kickoff time for Memorial-MD, just making sure for this one that 7 CST is correct per John Harrell’s site? More importantly, Heritage Hills High School athletics calendar also has it at 7pm CT. You listed CST, but we our actually CDT right now. 1 Quote

Gotta love the confusion of terminology with time zones, but thanks for confirming. Gaining the hour headed down to Fort Branch so I'll be good, just making sure I parked and got a seat early enough. TigerFan20 Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Heritage Hills about leads GS in every defensive or offensive categories based on my calculations. But, with better conditions on the field compared to the first matchup, this one is going to be good! 2 very good matchups right off the bat in this sectional with Memorial and Mater Dei going at it too. That won't hold true after you fix your stats. One quick example is that GS averages 447.3 offensive yards per game. Edited October 23, 2024 by Titan32 Quote

Heritage Hills leads the overall series 35-17. Our Patriots are averaging 40.0 ppg on offense, while holding opponents to 7.6 ppg. The Titans are averaging 36.7 ppg, while allowing 17.8 ppg. The Patriots also faced three teams that consolidated into Gibson Southern High School in the 1972 and 1973 seasons. Heritage Hills went 0-2 vs Fort Branch, 1-1 vs Haubstadt and 2-0 vs Owensville. In the first season of Patriot Football, the Patriots went 9-1 and their only loss was to Fort Branch (15-12). The Titans won the first three meetings in the series by beating Roger Snow’s Patriots in 1974, 1975 and 1976. The Patriots didn’t beat the Titans for the first time until 1977, which was the year Bob Ashworth became the Patriots Head Coach. The 1977 season was Bob Clayton's only season as Offensive Coordinator at Heritage Hills before he stepped into the Head Coach role. The following season Ashworth moved onto Evansville Reitz and Clayton took over the Heritage Hills program. The Titans have won 13 of the last 21 meetings starting with a win in 2010 that snapped the Patriots streak of 21 straight wins over the Titans. tango Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Great promo. What was the reason Washington would not allow the HUDL stream? Didn't want a public execution broadcast worldwide? 2 Quote
