And OSU's backup came in and obliterated the field, what, ten years ago? So you never know. I guess I'm just optimistic. I really want to see a statue erected in honor of Freeman. Kelly deserves it. Hard pass on both freeman and Kelly. Texas by 13+ georgia by 6+ boise state by 3+ ohio state by 1-3 Quote
BTF Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Boise State huh? Care to elaborate more on that one? Quote

Sparty Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Penn St. 7-0 all time in Fiesta Bowl Boise St. 3-0 all time in Fiesta Bowl I have more faith in the program that is 3-0 in this bowl with arguably the 2 best plays ever…… Quote

I am sure you don't...I am sure you have a very selective memory when it comes to TWICE making references about my wife and Coach Harbaugh. That is EXACTLY why you got a PM from me. I let it go the first time....the second time is when you heard from me. I tried to keep this between you and I, but you continue to decide to share a very partial story with the forum. You eventually responded privately to me admitting you went to far...there is very much a history of that exchange. Your comments about Bob were way out of line...but its repeated behavior...I guess its to be expected. Quote

This Penn State team feels a little different though. Not "champion" different, but "better than Boise State" different. I wouldn't consider ND over Georgia an upset. And certainly not OSU over Oregon. So there's really only two choices to your original question. Boise State or Arizona State. The consensus seems to be more trust in Texas than in Penn State. I can roll with that. Boise State it is. 3 Quote
PHJIrish Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 Penn State 31, Boise State 14, for those who haven't watched. The Nittanys get an extra day of rest or preparation for the semis. Quote

temptation Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 Today HAS to be the day we finally get a competitive CFP game right? Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 I was very pleased financially with my backing of Penn St at -10,5 🙂 got a bit dicey at the end. My favorite sport investment may have been the promo boost I took of Boise RB to get UNDER 3.5 on 1st carry of game, he went of 0 yards and his under 127.5 also hit 🙂 Penn St was not going to let that dude beat them and as I expected the trenches were dominated by the better, more physically punishing team in Penn St. 3 hours ago, temptation said: Today HAS to be the day we finally get a competitive CFP game right? sure don't want to see that in the 1st game, Texas by 14 would be delightful. 1 Quote
Sparty Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 As I’m sure most have already heard, due to the terrorist attack this morning in New Orleans, the Sugar Bowl game has been postponed until tomorrow night. 1 Quote

Irishman Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 Crazy game in Atlanta. Texas should have run them out of stadium. Gotta love the heart in the ASU team though. 1 Quote

I didn't want to see that kid go down like that. I was pretty neutral otherwise, maybe a slight lean toward Arizona State. It's early, but....................did Michigan awake a sleeping giant? Scratching my head as to why OSU didn't play their biggest rival with this kind of intensity, especially after losing several in a row. Quote

BTF Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 I guess Oregon wasn't deserving to be in the playoffs. Just now, Irishman said: Wondering if that home game to start the playoff helped? They're playing like they don't want to see him fired. 1 Quote

Gotta ugly it up, be able to compete in the trenches and play keep away… Oregon isn’t built that way unfortunately. Edited January 2, 2025 by temptation Quote
Sparty Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 OSU keeps this up, there isn’t anyone beating them. Quote
