Bears Long Snapper gave Blackwell a key, said Raiders LongSnapper always moves the ball first before snapping it.  Gave Blackwell the jump he needed to cut the corner !!

Grinder and a W!!!   Almost wasted an outstanding early effort by the Defense.   Heading into Bye 2-2.

See if we can get a bit healthier

The 2 OT's I thought played pretty well in 2nd half

That was just the kind of game the Bears would routinely lose in past years.

I love what Byard said to the team in terms of changing the culture.

Nice. It appears Braxton was benched in the 2nd quarter and wasn't injured. Did Trapilo switch over to LT? I couldn't watch this week. The Indy CBS station went with Chiefs/Ravens and I was too busy to make it out to a pro Bears bar.

Ozzy Trapilo vs. Maxx Crosby

-40 snaps (26 pass, 14 run)
-0 sacks
-0 QBH
-2 hurries

For not playing a single regular season snap + going against one of the leagues best in Crosby, the rookie did a great job.

I'm not sure if you have a tv provider or just utilize over the air, but I'm a big fan of the NFL Redzone channel. They supposedly only show games when someone is in the red zone, but yesterday they were showing what seems like almost a complete game. Sometimes 3 games were onscreen at the same time.

BINGO!!!   It is so so good !!!     Especially when they have 2 MNF games that means one less game in the afternoon late window, when that happens, you see WAY more on the Red Zone then you do in the Early slate because only 2 or 3 games on.    Well worth the extra $10 a month on youtube tv for the "sports package".   The Horse channel is important too 🙂

He was, then THEO went from RT to LT and OZZIE in at RT

Line calmed down after that

Oh geez. I have You Tube TV and never even think about picking up red zone. I hear there are now since ESPN is involved. How does that work this year?

Austin Booker practice window is now open, Bears have 3 week from today to determine if he can rejoin the 53 man roster or if they shut him down rest of year @Bash Riprock

Thanks coach...I assume Booker's knee injury was a sprain?  Man, that young man has beefed up...he is a man.

4-2 with some softer part of schedule coming up next 4 games:

Saints at HOME

Ravens ROAD

Bengels ROAD

Giants HOME

Never easy to win on the road, but like our chances at 3-1 in that stretch, 2-2 is palpable, 1-3 in that stretch and throws out the 2 road wins you earned last 2 games

Bears will need to make a decision, zero sum game with NFL Kickers, who do they believe more in the rest of the year, MOODY or SANTOS, because they cannot carry 3 total kickers on a 53 weekly, insane to do, so someone is going to get cut, IMO, the SECOND you put Moody back on practice squad he is going to get signed, Santos perhaps too.

Nice to see Gordon and Edwards back out there, tough 1st half as left Washington within striking distance after really controlling every aspect of the first half, but not enough to seperate

Run Game looked fantastic last night

DISGUSTING PENALTY by stripes to take a TEDDY away from ROME, so bad, but each week you can call some arbiturary penalty like that, who does and who doesn't at key times.... ugh.    fought thru it

They opened at +6.5 at Baltimore, screams Vegas things Lamar plays, haven't looked today yet.   Ravens and Bengels backto back road games, if you can split that would be a WIN, because winning on the road in NFL is very very hard

If sweep the road games then my future investments are looking very good at OVER 8.5 and lottery ticket on winning the North division 🙂

Unsung hero in coaching staff:  AL HARRIS, his DB's have been outstanding all with out all everything Jalon Johnson to boot.  Future DC as soon as next year

I agree.  I'm sure @temptation does as well

I would argue the Colts have a lot of mouths to feed as well...I am not sure the point.  Its not a negative the Warren has already distinguished himself.  Heck of a blocker as well and can line up all over the field.

Both will be tremendous NFL Tight Ends

Yes, Colts and Bears have the same positions, I hope you are not opin that you would keep Colts WR over the Bears WR, that would be very Ballard of you

We will check and compare the stats end of the year. Fair?
