TacklingFuel_10
I've said it a couple times and I'll say it one more time, I wish teams who have lost to a team another has beat that is behind that team will get ranked above that team. Especially after said 2A team just beat a top ranked 3A team for a conference championship. Is what it is, can't wait for the playoffs to start good luck to all teams and hope everyone stays as healthy as possible. For all those who might get confused because that was oddly worded Team A lost to Team B, Team B lost to Team C, Team A is ranked higher than Team C.
MICFan34
Is it the first time ever the top 3 teams in 6A (old 5A too) weren't from the MIC? Going to be a chaotic 6A Tourney.
Guest
Had a lot of trouble with those four MIC teams in my poll this week. Shrugged my shoulders and put BD above them all...

I think Cass should be ranked #1 but it has more to do with them beating West Lafayette than beating Western. Never been much of a believer in the transitive properties of football games. The good news is that this all get played out on the field.
Tanka Jahari
It would be interesting to know how many top 10 teams in each class use endzone cameras to capture their game film. I would think the correlation would be high, because the endzone view is such a powerful teaching tool.

Opener at HSE, solid & improving team. #7 Fishers or Westfield in Sectional final. #3 Homestead or #11 Snider in Regional. #2 Laf Jeff, #7 Merrillville or #12 Warsaw in Semi State.

The thing about Carmel is recency bias. Their 28-0 win over Warren opened some eyes as it should have. Defense was never questioned but have they figured out the offense? Those three sectional teams, including HSE (big W over BBurg on Friday), have the potential to knock off Carmel. And are Homestead/Laf Jeff/Merrillville as good as advertised to shock the Hounds? YES, they are. But no one should be “shocked”if it happens. Expect chaos in 6A. NO ONE has separated themselves...

Staxawax
Kudos to the coaches for rewarding the 3 remaining undefeated teams in 6A. Are they the 3 best? Who knows. What we do know is this....... all 3 could be knocked off in their own sectional! 6A is like the NFL minus the Patriots this year. Parity. Shout out to former Slicer HC Dave Sharpe who is the D-coordinator at HSE now.

PHJIrish
No more need for polls. The real season begins this week. Then in a few weeks we'll know who is #1.
