there is absolutely 100% nothing anyone will say to me that will convince me that Northwest Indiana has a harder trip to semi state than literally any other area.

we could put a team together of GID members and make it to semistate in any class if we got to start out of the northwest

Don't underestimate Carroll. They gave CG and HSE all they could handle. Probably would have beaten HSE had they been at full strength. Which also tells me that your Saints are really good. The "Fort Wayne is awful" opinion has no merit.

Carroll and Crown Point took two of the last three, did they not? This year would make 3 of 4.

21/22 -- westfield

22/23 -- carrol

23/24 -- crown point (would have lost to: CG, Cathedral, Brownsburg, LC, and WC [you know if something happened to ben davis on their route in])

24/25 westfield

I am the only person on this board to pick Carrol to beat HSE that year other than maybe you btw.

Also I said free trip to semi state, which typically involves them running into Ft. Wayne/and or carmel/westfield)

and I pretty much agree the fort wayne aweful opinion is overblown, though maybe down in comparison to other years.

Okay I’ll take your bait. I don’t thing anyone is saying harder. It’s your second paragraph statement that is ridiculous.

Please explain your logic for every class not just one or two but all 6. I’m all ears/ eyes.

Snider being down gives fans a false sense that the SAC is weak.

I saw Carroll in person. Competed just fine against two of Indy's best.

Dwenger beat Carroll, enough said. Although beating St. Francis De Sales 31-17 was pretty impressive. Lost to Roncalli by 3pts in a tune up game.

Northrop has their best team in 25 years.

North Side is close to 2022 form..........a team that was good enough to win state.

Homestead is up this season as well. If the SAC is down this year, then they must have been utterly atrocious last season. That being said, I'd say Dwenger has the best chance at a state title appearance this year, and I have them as an underdog to East Noble. Probably no representation from the SAC this year at Lucas Oil, but that doesn't mean they're "awful."

I literally have a history of saying an entire class is down because snider was down, and SF usuals were removed (I was right btw.)

That would be wonderful, I'm curious :).

I'll work on it, gonna take awhile.

only certain position is that GS guy as the coach for when the refs screw us.

he has a special talent that I think would be beneficial in that situation.

And were running the ball every play, and burning clock like crazy.

crown point will have to gear up for an absolute war vs portage on their walk to the semi state while the mic and hcc teams roll into each other again

other classes (excluding 1a/2a i know nothing of any of those schools)

same statement different teams.

So basically just another stupid statement on your part based on no logic. Typical.

based on the logic that the region produces at best one above average team, and they walk through everyone unchallenged until they have to deal with fort wayne and indy.

now your turn

which geographical region is NWI harder than, and why.

GS guy? Who's that?

No punting please. Four plays to run ten yards. We'll be dangerous. Imagine Warsaw or Mishawaka doing that. Coaches think they are a nightmare now? Whoa.

I would under no circumstances ever advocate for a punt. I'll run between the tackles on 4th and 99  before I punt.

Ok, I’ll go one by one here:

Snider is way down this year, period

Carroll is nowhere close to the team they were the last 4 years. How are they better this year?

Dwenger beats Carroll 9-6, nuff said? Where is the offense? That makes 2 games out of 4 games Dwenger hasn’t scored a TD. Their offense was better the last few years when they were bad then it is this year when they are supposedly good… Make that make sense to me

Northrop is the benefactor to how horrible the SAC is. Their best team in 25 years? What an accomplishment…

North Side? Your analogy of their 2022 team being a state title caliber team is bonkers. Did they make it out of sectionals? No. End of discussion. This year’s team being great is based on what exactly? Who have they beaten?

Sparty is good? Based on what? Beating Noblesville? Are they a state power? Didn’t think so…

If Snider beats any of those above teams, your argument is mush. Frankly, even if Snider loses to all of them, where is a quality for each of those teams as of now?

I'd love to see how Plainfield competes with anyone on your top 25. The Mid-State is not great this year outside of Plainfield and DC. Mooresville is decent, won't compete with Roncalli or Chatard who happen to be in that sectional. Whiteland will not beat East Central. Franklin Community, Perry Meridian, Martinsville, and Greenwood are downright BAD this year.

5. Sparty is good? Based on what?

1. Three years ago they lost to CG 35-9. This year they lost to them 35-24. Let's not pretend that CG is having a down year.

2. I thought defense wins championships? It just tells me that Dwenger's defense is way better than Center Groves.

3. But it's an accomplishment none the less. It's hard to ignore having two of the top three WR's in the state in their lineup.

4. They had Snider on the ropes in the 4th quarter of sectionals. Also came within a touchdown during the regular season. I've long stated that Snider was the best team in 5A in 2022, but were a victim of weather. Hard for me not to give credit to North Side for being one of 5A's best teams that year.

5. I said Sparty is "up" from last year. Is that false?

Saints D better than CG D? U might get kicked off here for that one my friend🙂

Who is the other wr for the Bruins? Other top recruit is at northside.

Sac teams playing each other after an abysmal start n now they're tough..if they win half of those games then it would seem fair..besides 6a where 3/4 will be from the sac,how many sectional titles will be held up for the conference this year? East Noble also beat dwenger last year when no one thought they had a chance.

Gotta tell it like I see it. Carroll put the ball in the endzone three times vs CG, zero vs Dwenger. One has to conclude that Dwenger has the better defense of the two.

Guilford is #1 player in Indiana. The kid from Penn is next, followed by Brown............according to 24/7.

Never thought I would say this but after BD put points up on CG last week, I tend to agree.

I'd be hard pressed to find a player excelling at the level of Branden Sharpe right now. It's a shame that juniors are ineligible for player of the year award.

Didn't CG win by 11 at Carroll?  You make it sound like the game came down to the wire.....

The game was 35-17 until Carroll had a big pass play late for a TD.  CG had over 500 yds of offense.  Yes, Carroll is good, and they played the Trojans tough the first half, but CG wore then down and opened it up in the 2nd half.

Not trying to stir controversy, just going by what I've personally witnessed and scores.

This Center Grove team is loaded with D1 kids as well.

You've mentioned him before. Just so you know, when I site these rankings, I'm always referring to seniors unless I state otherwise.
