I remember a Team State where we forfeited to Christian Carroll rather than have him hurt my son, lol. I don't think Christian had a match longer than :20 that day. Quote

Carrol won a State Title for NP after transferring from Penn . Rumor was he was leaving Penn for Jimtown but ended up at NP . Appears Fleeger was trying to steal another Penn wrestler . I was actually referring to this years NP team . This years team may be the best one in years . They will probably end up top 6-7 at individual state . But having 3-4 studs does not make a great Team in a dual format . Quote

This unbelievable game followed 19 days after ND upset #1 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl to win the natty, and I saw both in person. Quite a start to my last semester under the Dome. A lot of people don’t remember, but the last time UCLA lost a game before Jan. 19, 1974 was … to Notre Dame as well. My freshman year when the great Austin Carr scored 56 to turn away Sidney Wicks, Curtis Rowe, Henry Bibby, et al. I was in attendance at that one, too. 2 Quote

Duke was the ACC champion and it didn't get an invite to the football dance! I don't know how many ACC championships the Dukies have won, but it hasn't been many. Quote
