Guest DT
Richmond is no where near the big school brute it used to be. Why is the school not in the EIAC with other local, like sized schools? Wouldnt Richmond fit nicely into the EIAC 4A Division? Whats the inside scoop here? Why doesnt the EIAC want Richmond? Or does Richmond feel its above the EIAC due to its long standing membership in the NCC?
Muda69
They like the drive to Logansport so they can ride the antique carousel there? Also the breaded tenderloin at Artie's in Kokomo is very, very good.
Impartial_Observer
Probably would have been a better add than Rushville or Connersville.

They stay put. 1

Our OL DL coach lives in Kokomo, last year when we visited NW for game, he brought us all one of those wonderful Breaded Tenderloins. Tremendous indeed
TheLip2
How about we toss Rushville and Connersville out of the EIAC and they get together with Richmond and a couple of other schools to be identified later to form a brand new conference? The EIAC was better with 6 schools and was more geographically compact.
coachkj
The North Central conference... Formed as a basketball super power conference in the 1920s.

Yep, it's why Frankfort was a charter member.

And the South Central Conference followed suit in the mid 30's.
GoodKn19ht
The EIAC will soon be a 3A heavy conference, a change may be forced in the near future. I think 6 in the 3A class, and only 2 true 4A schools.
Cow Bell
When someone mentions the EIAC, what is the first thing they think of. East Central So the real question should be. When foes EC stay in the EIAC? They do not play 3A Rushville and after this year Greensburg will be off the schedule. They stoped playing Lawrenceburg for a few years but did add them back. Why? Now for Lawrenceburg EC is a good game for them but in all reality EC only benifits from this game once in a while. Since coach HEP retired from Batesville the every 4 year win by Batesville is gone. Franklin County may give o quarter once in a while. But like all other EIAC members, EC's numbers are just to many. Then comes the other 4A members. South Dearborn which will fall to 3A after this year only gives a game every so many years. Then comes the other 4A team that has never given any competition since joining the EIAC nor any competition to EC in scrimmage games just before joining. Connersville is at least giving there fellow Conference members competition thus far this year and have stopped the long losing streak. Richmond joining the EIAC does nothing for EC or Lawrenceburg. It only keeps the bottom ...Company.
