I am getting comfortable with them just being referred to as "Washington". It doesn't demine Native Americans, and it doesn't require a moniker (nickname). All in all it's a nice touch to what they should be. Quote

Living in the area for years, they deserve an identity....WFT is not one. Used to love their band and their fight song. RFK back in the day during the Gibbs era was a rocking place. But I’m guessing the choice of Feb. 2 as a launch date is not a coincidence. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Washington Groundhogs. It plays right into the old Redskins’ “Hogs” legacy! Quote
