Does the winner of the North game win State? or will that still not push you over the edge if its CP?

I think we are in for a fantastic final 3 games of the 6A season no matter the outcome.  One could make a case for any of the four remaining teams.

The winner will have deserved it.  I still place Crown Point as 4th of the 4 teams but nowhere near a longshot to win these next two.

I'll provide a list of grief counselors, therapists, and psychologists in the Indy area after Crown Point wins the whole thing.

Just like Carroll two years ago and Crown Point last year, lol.

Pulled the receipts earlier.  You gave me 21.5, lol.

Hmmm, did I make those claims in '22 & '23? I don't recall doing that.

You picked CG in 2022 but hedged talking about them not being able to "take Carroll lightly" as if that is remotely possible by an Eric Moore coached team playing a game in November.

In 2023, I joked about a 49 point blowout and said that was more likely than a close game and you came back and gave me 21.5.

Its all above in writing.

Death, taxes, and @BTF claiming all 6A teams north of Hamilton County are being slept on are the three guarantees every November.

And it was pretty obvious that CG didn't take them lightly, right?

I don't think I was too far off the 21.5 mark last year. I'm not sure what I said the last two seasons that qualifies me as an idiot.

Never called you an idiot.  You are just so predictable when it comes to your analysis.

The game was 38-3 last year before CP scored a garbage time touchdown.

The year before it was 35-3 before Carroll scored a garbage time touchdown.

So yes, you were pretty far off.

Time to get your 2025 Lafayette Jeff gonna shock 6A prediction ready to go?

Meh. I think Crown Point has a stronghold on the north. Carroll will be Carroll, and Snider will just struggle to survive 6A with their tiny enrollment. Jeff? Aren't they 5A now?

I think Carroll falls off quite a bit next year minus QB Sullivan. Snider will be better next year than this year, especially offensively. CP needs to show me long term they are here to stay. They have had a good 2 years, is it sustainable?

Carroll reloads at the QB position every year and offense is Dinan's specialty. I think Carroll will still be Carroll.

I agree that Snider's offense will be better. They lose some dudes on defense, but the defensive coordinator is pretty darn good. 6A is just an uphill climb for a 5A school.

Crown Point has improved every year four years running under Buzea. They'll be tough to beat.

They do not have a Sullivan waiting to play, big difference. That team this year was all Sullivan, it was smoke and mirrors after that

Buzea (and Moore for that matter) aren’t getting any younger.

How many years they have left?

Not sure of their age, but some coaches go into their 70's.

Coach Moore is 63 this year, he has stated  he doesn't see himself coach much past the age of 65.

Coach Buzea is also 63 this year.

Bud Wright is 84 and Russ Isaacs is 72. You never know.

I just gave their current ages and what Coach Moore stated due to his health problems. He said he doesn't see himself coaching much past the age of 65. At the end of last year Coach Moore retired from being the Track and Field Coach at Center Grove.

I will say Coach Wright is an anomaly, not many HC's do what he has decided to do.

I was a crew chief for an NCAA D3 playoff game at St. John’s in Minnesota when the legendary John Gagliardi was their head coach. He held that job for 59 years, retiring in 2012 at the age of 86. Can’t recall the year, but he was a crotchety old man by then.

LOL. Very true. I can understand being bullish on this years Crown Point team; however, he's gauranteeing something will happen that hasn't happened since 1977 (A DAC team winning the largest class in Football). Tomorrow night should be interesting. I drove by Riverview Health Stadium earlier this morning on 31. It's covered in snow and we should be getting more snow this afternoon. I'm guessing Westfield or Mother Nature will have the field cleared by kickoff, but the conditions may not be great for offensive football. We could be looking at a 17-14 type of game where the team who killed the most clock running the ball will win.

What’s the forecast for tomorrow night? Turf field so if snow is removed and not windy, field won’t impede offenses.

We are in late November , chances it will be windy are very good .

Looks like 38 w/ 15mph winds at game time... Feels like temp of 30...

The homer in me says this favors CP, Let's go Dogs!!!  28-14 CP heads to LOS

See you tonight!

Care to share why you feel it favors the Dogs (aside from the homer in you)?

The guys up front, on both sides of the ball. The O-line has been outstanding for Ellison (my worry here would be his size in the cold, hard hits in this cold feels a little different). I wish I had 1st half stats from some of the CP games but watching them control the line of scrimmage against Merrillville (2 outstanding RB's, held to less than 20yds) Valpo, and Chesterton who are all run heavy teams makes me lean towards the same outcome tonight.
