Hey! Your team is improving each week, besides I hear it is lovely in Tell City this time of year. 😂 Just enjoy the scenery along the way and ride this train as far as your team will take you! 🚂

Tell City is always lovely, regardless of the time of year. Maybe biased.....

Loved the field, but the locker room facilities could definitely use an upgrade, especially for the officials.

100% agreed. Don’t think they’ve been touched since the field was turned 40+ years ago

Paoli (+17) at Brownstown

Game I've had my eye on since sectionals were announced. Like the Valley/Providence match last week I've went back and forth alot. I like Brownstown to win but man the spread seems a little high especially for 2 teams who run and control clock as much as they do. I think Brownstown has more fire power in this one and score late to cover. Braves win 42-21.

Milan (-21) at West Washington

WW has had a rough year. Think it ends tomorrow night. Spread feels about right but I feel we let things snowball sometimes. They've dialed back the offense in recent weeks and mixed some things up but I think Milan is too much for em. Ill take Milan 44-12.

North Daviess (-3) at Perry Central

Teams feel about even. Each has gotten beat down buy every good team they have played. Im taking Perry for the long bus ride ND has to make. Gimmie Perry in close one 20-16

Martinsville (-31) at Silver Creek

Last week i knew nothing of Connerville and picked them. Same thing this week. Maybe 31 is too high but Martinsville looks good on paper. Dragons go home 49-14

Madison (+1) at Scottsburg

Teams met in week 1 with Madison winning by 6 in Madison. I've heard alot of good things about the Cubs new coach and they seem to be playing much better then in recent years. Ill say Scottsburg is ready. They get revenge and sent the Cubs into Hibernation 21-13

Indian Creek (+1) at North Harrsion

You know what I know about Indian Creek? Nothing. They are 5-5. Couldn't even tell you what the unis look like. Probably wrong. All I know is if North Harrison wins they get a home sectional final and it's close enough for me to go to. So....won't happen. IC win 21-20

Salem (+7) at Tell City

Again as I've said for weeks I feel Salem is better then record shows. They got some playmakers. Tell City may win but it'll be close. Ill take Lions 31-28

Bonus Game of the Week: South Vermillion (+3) at Linton

Linton cheats at home. They get to play with 14 guys on defense! Didn't want that out there before you guys made picks. They win 21-16

(Truthfully i dont know much other then i don't bet against the Miners)

You scrubs get your donations in so I can continuing winning Pickems for years to come. You need my insight and you know it!!

You have no idea some of the places we’ve used as “dressing rooms”.

Unfortunately, I do 😞. We were in a location that you could not take a shower without being shocked nor be clean even after taking a shower. It is sad that the officials are not all that well taken care of. But that $85 and love of the game still keeps us coming back for more 🙂

So many stories like this …. Once we were told we had to dress in the room where the marching band stored some instruments. Some band members came in unannounced about an hour and 15 minutes before game time. I’m pretty sure most of them made it through psychotherapy and are now leading useful lives.

We had something similar almost happen to us a couple of year ago, but it was just the girl basketball locker room and it was homecoming. We were leaving to start the second half and all of a sudden about 30 girls walked into the locker room unannounced. Needless to say, we were a little late getting the second half started after having to track down the AD to get everyone out and get the doors locked.

They luckily didn't come in a few minutes prior as they might have had to attend the same therapy.

I have a Homecoming/Girls’ Locker Room story from many years ago. But I have to check and make sure the statute of limitations has run before I tell it. 😉

Bluejacket as the only person to pick WW (so far) are you privy to info the rest of us don’t have? Or are you just picking them to beat the spread? Just curious, that’s all.

Sounds like Paoli just got tired. Great 1st half. Had to be a record number of forced fumbles that weren’t recovered by the forcing team 😂

The 4th Q turnovers hurt. 28-25 brownstown runs kick back, paoli throws pick. 2 plays later brownstown scores made it 42-25 in blink of an eye. Fumble on next drive and brownstown scores again. 48-25 final. Was a great game to watch. Lots of 4th down conversions by both teams. Paoli loses 13 seniors.

At least you can still comeback and win it all. I was eliminated before the playoffs! I’m going for the # 1 draft pick.

We have to have someone break that log jam at the front before the final lap. Good Luck to every one in contention.

PLAC is eliminated. Not sure there will be enough games to pull out a miracle.
