Penn and the NIC need to come to an agreement where either they leave the conference in football or allow them to play the JV vs other school varsity teams.

What are these baseball standings!?
-
Marian (1-1) at SB Adams (1-1) - 21-17 St. Joseph (2-0) at New Prairie (0-2) - Sorry NP but I think SB. St. Joe hangs a tough loss on you. 42- 7 SB Washington (0-2) at Elkhart (1-1) - Elkhart gets back in the win column, wins 49-0 Penn (2-0) at SB Riley (1-1) - Penn has 42 by half, then takes the foot off the gas. 49-7

Top 25 - Week 2

The one benefit Penn should have going into the playoffs is being able to stay healthy. The O-line against Valpo pressure gave up big hits on Hall, and at times looked a little slow. They sure looked improved against Mishawaka, but that is a hard game to draw any information from. I want to say Penn's O, should be able to move the ball and score, but with the lack of big games on the schedule from here to the end of the season, I still cautiously put them as a potential top 5 team in the North. (this is not a stab at St. Joe or Elkhart) 1- Westfield 2- Carmel 3- Carroll 4- CP 5- HSE or maybe Penn -

We had the exact same scheme at Heritage Hills, but with blue flanked by white with red space in-between. Getting those straight and the Patriot man logo "perpendicular to the earhole" but it couldn't be too high or too low was a SOB. Players definitely ran if they had to go ask for another decal. Most would try to peel them off then have them peel off halfway through the season. Fresh decals were only given out before state.

Figure @Titan32 would want this in general conversation not week 3. 😂 @hhpatriot04 “Will North Posey be challenged for the PAC title? Possible contenders seem to be Tell City and Forest Park. Never count out FP to beat the Vikings. Lot of season ahead

They played well last Monday, no doubt.

At Rochester, you earn your stripes by going to team camp in the summer. It is a stripe that goes down the middle of the helmet. Then during the first two weeks of practice, players slowly earn their English R on the right side of the helmet and their number on the left as they stand out and work hard in practice. The coaches put them on for the players. During the season we give out little white football helmet decals for awards during the week for things such as TD's scored or blocked for, TFL, INT, etc. We even started giving awards out for guys that sprint down the field to celebrate in the end zone with the guy that scored.

I believe Eastern Hancock is 2-0. It looks like you put a lot of time and effort into this, it's really cool. Just giving a heads up for next week if they are 3-0

I'm really surprised that HH held onto an honorable mention in the Gannett/USA Today Poll. Speaks to their perceived quality of opponent, I assume. I'm all for publicity for Heritage Hills football, but within realism. I'm sure Coach Tempel has employed a few fun drills in practice this week, as to not repeat the same unforced mistakes (namely penalties, special teams, and ball protection)! Glad to see North Posey getting some attention. Gibson, meh. Let's see how they do in the PAC this season before crowning them.

Corydon JV blanked Paoli 42-0 running clock the second half. After the offensive shootout with BC week 1, I think this JV offense will score a ton this season. Freshman on this squad are really solid. The QB will likely be a sophomore starter on varsity next year.
