  1. Today
  2. K/P Bryce Taylor of Bloomington South has committed to IU. His junior season was cut short by a broken collarbone.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Muda thinks glasses are a government conspiracy.
  5. Since 99% of teams had no shot at a state title in the single class era, it wasn’t really the concern in most communities. Yea the Milan miracle was a great story, but it wasn’t really an upset story. For most communities winning the sectional gained your town/school/players a life long bragging rights locally, especially for smaller towns in a way a state title today doesn’t approach.
  6. As you know, Rod Woodson was willing to help fund a stadium for Snider many years ago and FWCS shut it down saying they wouldn’t let him in one of the most asinine decisions ever. But hey, let’s build South Side a stadium in another idiotic decision while the cow cash of Fort Wayne public high schools is forced to continue to play their games at Northrop
  7. Agree, I've seen 10 fans on a few occasions. Trust me, wondering why the top (by far) football revenue producing school in Fort Wayne just happened to be the only program without a field has always been the million dollar question. Maybe this current plan has been in the works longer than we realize. I do give credit to FWCS, they could have said, "Northrop's been your home for five decades and it will continue to be your home." Instead, not only are they building a stadium, but they are pumping 30 million in improvements to the campus. Just take it, don't look back, and savor the memories of the all gigantic games at Spuller Spuller stadium.
  8. The man in the logo, Mr. Clutch passed away. https://www.nba.com/news/jerry-west-passes-away-at-86
  9. What a joke.......... https://hookemheadlines.com/posts/did-the-lamborghinis-outside-of-dkr-do-the-job-for-texas-longhorns-recruiting-01j041kezrfm
  10. I remember how long it took me to finally watch The Big Lebowski, after being ridiculed by several people for not seeing it. And then when I watched it, I ridiculed myself as to "why in the hell did it take so long to watch this instant classic?"
  11. I have also seen games vs. South have about 10 fans on their side. Point being, how in the Hell did they get a stadium before Snider??
  12. Spacing could very well be an issue and the reason for 4000 (which will accommodate most games). I just think the financial payback will be significant if they can find a way to squeeze in an extra 1000 (will be needed twice a year on average, sometimes once depending on the playoff run that year). Word gets around when you don't have ample seating for the visitors. They won't bother showing up, they'll stay home and watch it on the internet. To South Side's defense, I've seen 100 in the visiting stands before. They do seem to show up for their home games though.
  13. Another NBA great passes away: https://sports.yahoo.com/nba-legend-jerry-west-dies-at-age-86-134646038.html Truly one of the NBA greats, and the de-factor face of the league still today.
  14. It is a classic, just like Bama, Texas. and USC.
  15. Like Penn State's Simple Perfection. Not gaudy gold.
  16. You can be a fashion follower … or a fashion setter.
  17. And it doesn’t even match their pants.
  18. Both of you, please stop. There is only one helmet in college football that’s real gold.
  19. As funny as that scene is, it doesn’t have me rolling quite like the scene where Walter dumps Donny’s ashes and they end up in The Dude’s face. Walter’s speech leading up to it adds to the hilarity, especially the ‘Nam references. I’m literally laughing my head off as I type this.
  20. I really think that space limits the seating for Snider. 6,000 would be ideal when Snider plays good teams, when they play a team like South Side, 1 lawn chair would be enough for South Side’s fans. This would be a great thing for Snider football and their fans to have a real home. It would also stop the embarrassment of FWCS insistence over the years of, by far, the top drawing public school in Fort Wayne not having its own field while programs like Northrop, Wayne, and South Side that can’t draw 500 fans get their own stadium. The utter, complete incompetence of the FWCS administration to draw this out for so long is shameful
  21. Hope not for sake of the rivalry… Want the Thanksgiving weekend matchup to maintain its intensity.
  22. All true, but the NCAA waited until the ball was rolling. They could have/should have done something years and even decades ago.
  23. Last week
  24. In a previous post, I made the comment that there was potential for Michigan and Ohio State to play 3 times in one season. I am willing to wager a few teams will not be there when the regular season is over.
