  1. Past hour
  2. I am no longer coaching... I have watched the Brownstown film from this evening. We looked good, especially all things considered.
  3. Ben Davis 33, Cathedral 27 final BD led 21-7 at the half and built a 27-10 lead midway in the 3rd quarter! The Irish came back to tie the game at 27 early in the 4th quarter. After a Giants turnover the Irish had the ball deep in BD territory, but a series of penalties led to a long missed FG! BD then scored with 1:50 left in the game and then missed the XP! The Irish quickly moved the ball into BD territory but a fumble, after a completed pass inside the 30 yard line, ended the game! The Giants QB threw for 327 yards tonight! No Irish opponent's QB threw for 300+ yards last season! Lots of penalties and lots of turnovers, as you would expect in an opener!
  4. Perry Central Vs Tell City The stream didn't have a scoreboard, and I lost track, but MaxPreps has the score at 49-6 and that seems about right. Perry struggled in pretty much every phase. Perry has decent athletes at both quarterback and tailback, so hopefully they can figure out a way to get those guys out in the open where they can make some moves. Seems like tonight their tailback had TC defenders in his face as soon as he got the ball in most instances. Watching the scrimmage, Perry can be effective in the short-to-medium passing game. I think with some more reps and experience, they can get their offense going. Hopefully before their conference schedule kicks in here in a couple of weeks. The defense is more of a work in progress. Obviously, with that point total, they did not look good. But it's early, and sometimes, especially with a young crew, the first run-in with varsity speed is an eye-opening experience. Also, hats off to Tell City. They played tough and physical and didn't hurt themselves. Think they have a shot to win quite a few games this year.
  5. Northside QB is out tbf. Still woulda picked EN even if he was playing
  6. Judson had a running clock in the 3rd.
  7. New Albany hired Louisville Males DC. Marc Clark. He’s very good. I was impressed with his interview. He’s legit defensively.
  8. Week 1 Finals: 29-26 Castle over North 45-0 Boonville over Bosse 46-0 Reitz over Harrison 56-14 Mater Dei over Central 48-14 Memorial over Jasper
  9. A Providence team with a good last few years, 2A or not
  10. Ben Davis defeats Cathedral 33-27.
  11. Well, it’s a good win. But it’s against a 2A team. We’ll see how it goes, but it’s definitely progress.
  12. I'd vote on 1-2a. I wouldn't be of much use for anything else
  13. My apologies for severely underestimating New Albany. They made my prediction look terrible tonight…but I couldn’t be more happy about it. Congrats!
  14. Bulldogs win 28-7. Coach Clark seems to know what he’s doing. Nice start.
  15. Other HHC final scores: BNL beat Martinsville 33-27 😳 Greenwood beat Seymour 41-20 Lawrence Central beat Jeff 67-20 New Albany stuns Providence 28-7 😳
  16. You tube cuts off the Snider Warsaw game with just under 2 minutes to go, Snider down by 2 in Warsaw territory.
  17. JC gets the W 28-21, late TD. Greenwood 41 Seymour 20.
  18. Oh, Dwenger. We'll see the videos tomorrow and see if he was down or not. Dwenger 15-14 Roncalli. 3OT
  19. Mooresville defeats Columbus East 34-21 Decent first half for East as they led 21-17 toward the end of the first half and recovered a Mooresville fumble in Mooresville territory. However, they fumbled it right back to Mooresville and the Pioneers converted for a touchdown and a 24-21 lead at the half. Second half was extremely sloppy by East. Too many picks and fumbles. When they did get in the redzone or near the goal line, Mooresville’s defense clamped down hard.
  20. Brownsburg defeats Lawrence North 48-25. Warren Central defeats Center Grove 20-14.
  21. Lutheran 35 Crispus Attucks 0 Final
  22. Dwenger 15 - Roncalli 14 in triple overtime, final Nope, 23and Counting needs to say nothing about North ever again…
  23. That’s a good win! I thought it would be close. I picked against you guys.
  24. And I'm assuming this really doesn't surprise anyone in The Fort.
  25. Warsaw rips off a 97 yard TD with a little over 2 minutes left to take lead.
  26. Today
  27. 48-14 Memorial Final
