I teach in a school where kids cry in my room at least 2-3 times a week. Guess what kind of teachers they have? A few like those on these pages. Closed minded folks shouldn't teach. My biology teachers in a tiny Christian college in Indiana told us about 30 years ago that there was a lot of fuzziness in sex due to many factors. Why is it so hard for these people today? That was 3 decades ago. There are e helluva lot of smart people out there. I think I better go buy a pillow.

People have posted tributes about other celebrities who have passed that also had personal issues; but no one chose to be a dick and make comments along those lines. Instead of looking at the flaws, we look at the contributions they made. Must be tough for you to be so flawless as to feel an obligation to point out the flaws of others. Had you posted about the shows in Alaska in one of the covid related topics, or when the story actually came out 7 months ago, no big deal at all. But to post it where and when you did is just a dick move on your part.

LCC won football and baseball in 2009, but last time basketball was at the state level along with football was 1999 and while football took state, basketball finished as runner up. Impressive!

I really didn’t want to get down in the weeds on this, because you can’t reason with people who aren’t interested in the right answer unless it fits with their ideology. But I have poor impulse control. Sometimes the hardest things to know … are what you don’t know. And if you’re not really interested in the correct answer, you don’t really have much motivation to find out. Instead, you end up seeing things as always black and white, with a clear cut answer (yours), and everything else is clearly and irredeemably wrong. You become constitutionally incapable of open-mindedness. “Often wrong, but never in doubt.” And you end up ignoring actual science. That puts you on a par with the mouth breathers crowing about Judge Jackson’s answer in the confirmation hearings. The Earles were from Europe, what part not sure, H-O-B-A-R-T was pronounced H-O-B-E-R-T in the old country. I was told this by a lady at the Hobart Historical Society back in 1993, when I moved here.
