The DOE has released enrollment data from the fall count day for the 24-25 school year. Here are the enrollments for each school for grades 9-12. This year is the first of a two year alignment cycle, so these numbers will NOT be used for realignment. I am just sharing this data to give an idea of the enrollment trends. Note that there always seems to be a few schools that have slightly different numbers when the IHSAA releases their enrollments for classification in a realignment year. Schools with an * did not report their data to the DOE, so their enrollments are listed as the same as the number they gave the IHSAA in 2024. I am only listing the schools in order by enrollment and not including any projections for the split between classes. How long does it really take to enter them in a spread sheet and sort them? I feel like I could do that, seed the entire tournament, and do a selection show in the same day. I'm going to propose the IHSAA hires me to arrange their tournaments. I want to be called The Game Maker like on Hunger Games.

Well, the three best coaches are at Westfield, Center Grove, and Brownsburg. But there's no way those guys are leaving where they're at to go to Warren Central. Kevin Wright would be the man, but I think he was solidified at Carmel before Kirschner stepped down. Maybe Jason West hoping for a gig with richer resources? Scott Turnquist? Mike Brevard? Yeah, not being an Indy guy, those are my first three calls. How'd I do?

I wouldn't ever count SR out. This is bittersweet for me. While I'm excited about the prospect of competing for a 4a sectional and that being history, I will miss playing with the rivals.

Such as what Westfield did after last season by elevating Josh Miracle, a long time assistant under Jake Gilbert, to fill that spot after Gilbert headed to Wabash. The train was only derailed by Brownsburg.

Woodson's hire was 100% political. BOT chair Quinn Buckner has been calling the shots the last 4-5 years. He's going to be ousted here once his term is over. There will be a new IU bball coach next year.

I think Warren Central is one of those programs that a proven coordinator can succeed at. The pipeline of athletes there is so strong it would be pretty hard to fail in my opinion. If I were building a program, I'd go after someone with head coaching success. Warren Central already has a solid foundation and the bones are pretty strong.

If you were going to hire a coordinator to lead your program, what would you look for? Coaches he's worked for? Success in his role? Experience at the level you play at? He checks all those boxes. He's worked under the last 3 Warren coaches too at one point or another. It also isn't unheard for a coordinator to immediately jump into a head role and have early success in the highest class. He's also hiring a defensive coordinator with head coaching experience so the staff will shape up to be a good one too.

In his state public sector employees don't contribute to social security, yet he wants to receive benefits. The greed is unreal.

Hating ND is in my blood and until 5 months ago, had no reason to dislike IU.

This is a situation that every state is trying to address in different ways. The most glaring example is Florida, where a Top 10 nationally ranked team (Chaminade-Madonna) participates in its smallest class tournament. They won their first two games by an aggregate score of 133-0. Quite honestly, I do not think anyone has come up with an equitable solution. Louisiana has segregated public and private schools into their own tournaments, then at the end of each season the question arises to who the best team in the state is. The Top 10 in national polls are dominated by private schools, with Santa Ana Mater Dei closing in on their second consecutive national title. I guess if you look at it, Indiana has come as close to anyone with attempting to give all schools a shot at a title. However, with that being said, I really do not think that there will ever be a solution that appeases everyone.
