  2. For what it is worth, Providence named a new principal at the start of 2022 and he took over July 1, 2022. Crazy thing is I didn’t know that until a google search 2 minutes ago. But looking at enrollment numbers I guessed that might have happened. If a p/p school has - shall I say - less than desirable leadership, enrollment can quickly suffer.

  3. Spin whatever you want, doesn’t change a damn thing I said as it is the truth … You can invalidate it all you want , last I saw, TTUN failed miserably this year as a result of the big cheater and beat TTUN on the field ND’s best wins were Army and Navy, teams with zero scholarship players. Give me a break

  4. Cignetti is a better version of Scumbaugh, er Harbaugh, you know the big cheater with TTUN… the same dirt bag that bailed on TTUN and left the cupboard bare so they could be an also ran far behind 2nd place Indiana… you know TTUN that lost to Indiana and went to Ohio State and won…

  5. Tennessee is down 21-0 against tOSU, so maybe they didn't deserve to be in.

  6. This guy is REALLY looking like a fool now. I guess SMU, Tennessee, and Clemson weren't deserving either. Bottom line? You better be the one hosting the college playoff game.

  7. I get what you guys are driving at, but wasn’t it 13 guys from JMU? JMU probably would have been a tough out for Ball State even when they were FCS.

  8. Yea…inferior competition. Took his team straight out of FCS and was immediately successful at the FBS level. To even get a team from FCS to FBS is an incredible achievement. But hey, Cig knows he can’t hang with your football resume…who can?? 😂

  9. I’d buy long simply because of the way that the transfer portal and mega conferences have changed the game. You can revamp your roster overnight and become a much improved team, which IU did. Combine that with the fact that you only see half of your conference and can avoid many of the heavy hitters if the schedule gods are on your side and you have the 2024 Indiana Hoosiers. The bar was so low before Cignetti that this is common sense. When the floor is 3-4 wins and the ceiling is 11 wins, odds say most years you’ll fall in the middle between 6-8 which is one HELL of an accomplishment for Indiana football. Why are you avoiding my statement about Freeman coaching circles around “Google me guy” last night? Do you consider Freeman great?

  10. Let's go back to that "character" thing that was being discussed earlier. I'm glad Brown didn't win it. Now, strictly speaking of football? Tough question since I wasn't on earth in 1956. I do know that there was another running back that finished ahead of Brown in the voting who averaged 7.2 yards per carry versus Brown's 6.2. Also, Hornung did everything. He was a quarterback, a running back, a receiver, a punter, a kick returner, and a punt returner. Maybe that had something to do with it? It's not like there wasn't other qualified candidates that year.

  11. Damn Temp, the man is in his FIRST year at................IU. With what, thirty transfers from James Madison? You know, guys who go to James Madison are guys who didn't get recruited by Ball State, right?

  12. The last thing this man has is an inferiority complex. I'm not sure there's a name for what he has. He said " I win, google me." Damn. Now, even he knows he'll look pretty stupid if he doesn't back that up. So to say something like that, your confidence has to be on another level. And when you're confident, you're normally successful. Ten win seasons at IU will soon be the standard.

  14. Bobref had to be happy. Tyler Buchner, aka “The Chosen One” even got some air time last night.

  15. IU never recovered after the poor passing decision and interception in the red zone followed by the 98 yd TD run in the first quarter. Congrats Irish and Irish fans!! Go get the Dawgs!

  17. It could easily be done in this day and age. In my opinion, the reclassifications should be done every year.

  18. You realize Floyd Central was in the MSC back in the beginning right? They had no culture, nor tradition.

  19. He’s insinuating Brown didn’t win (right or wrong) the Heisman because he was black.
