There’s an awful lot to admire about the Merrillville program. It’s unfortunate that some people can’t see past a single deranged Pirate fan and appreciate all the accomplishments of Coach Seiss and his staff. They’ve done a great job.

Lewis Cass had to drop out of our 11 on 11 on July 17. We need at least one more team and would like to have 2. Current teams are Knox, Culver, Alexandria and Taylor. We will have a couple of officiating crews to work that night as well. If interested, Contact Rob Patchett at Rpatchett@taylor.k12.in.us We will start at 5:00. We have a turf field and a grass field we will use. Format will be 15 minutes on Offense, 15 minutes on defense and then rotate opponents.

Folks, this is a real constitutional crisis in the making. The contempt power is the only tool judges have to enforce their rulings. Ultimately, a federal judge can order a contemnor arrested by US Marshals, and jailed. And this is criminal, not civil, contempt. Question: does a conviction for criminal contempt satisfy the requirement of “high crimes and misdemeanors” the Constitution requires for impeachment? This is going to get worse before it gets better.

Fans or fan? Parkhurst is a tool for sure. Having one guy going to the NFL is "more important" than winning a state title, lol . In a day and age where fan support on the road is almost embarrassing, I've gotta give props to how the Merrillville community supports their program on long road trips. That fan base showed up in Fort Wayne in 2023. I wish them the best.

I think it is more of a reflection on where things sit in Public Schools right now in Indiana. With an average stipend to Head football coaches of something south of $8,000, it's much more complex to have the "other" job for that coach readily available and provide enough additional dollars to attract an outside candidate. However, the word on the street is that Princeton did make some other offers to established coaches in the area that were rumored to be "the best offers for HS Football HC in the state South of Indy". If those rumors are true, kudos to Princeton for trying as hard as possible.

I think he was saying Northview to join the Sagamore. There are only 6 schools. I am sure they are looking for a couple of more schools.
