The rumor I'm hearing is that he is following Herb and going to help him at Benton Central3 points

I was at the Al Smith and witnessed the entire altercation. I have no doubt in my mind that Chris Fleeger will be fired at New Prairie high school . A quick Google search shows this guys rap sheet and character . Burglary, battery, protective order against him, and 14 or so speeding/traffic violations.2 points

How would George Halas have handled winning that game? How would Vince Lombardi have handled winning that game? The pro wrestling comment was about the hype around it being fake because it's all scripted. The Mike Leach comparison does not fit. He never said F ________________________ when his teams beat them. Jimmy Johnson was a pretty confident and even more outspoken coach....never said about his bitter rivals. I have no issue with Johnson being excited about the win; just takes things too far. But it's obvious he hit with his target audience. Most Coaches understand what goes around comes around.1 point

Interesting stat: The Bears went 2-1 vs. the Packers. In those 3 games they did not play a single offensive snap with a lead.1 point

Ryan Clark was asked on the pregame show what it was like to play for Mike Tomlin on a stage like this, and he said the same he was on week 1. They were down 21-7 in a playoff game, and instead of focusing on mistakes, Tomlin calmly said, this comeback is going to be epic. Watch this locker room when we come back. I am willing to bet he never once said F the Ravens or other rivals. Same with John Harbaugh about their rivals. Cameras were all over the Cowboys locker rooms when Jimmy Johnson coached. Never once did you hear him say F the Eagles, Giants, or Redskins. In fact it was always How about them Cowboys! Celebrate your team instead of MFing the opponents.1 point

This is all you need to know about New Prairies Chris Fleeger The prosecutor's office added the following, regarding the complainant (Fleeger): From a jurisdiction outside of St. Joseph County. Later identified as the Complainant. The Complainant admitted to detectives that he had previously tried to recruit Mr. Freeman’s son to wrestle at another high school and join the Complainant’s wrestling club. The Freeman family had declined to do so. Another witness advised Detectives that the Complainant had voiced his anger at the Freeman family, telling the witness that he was encouraging other wrestlers to harm Mr. Freeman’s son. This witness told the Freeman family of these threats. The Complainant has denied making those threats.1 point

Of course, all that came in before the $$$ crunch, so we'll see if it continues. Attucks is supposed to finally get a real gym at some point. They play in a middle school gym. Seems like IPS could crowd fund that gym given the historic nature of Attucks and the 100th anniversary of the school's opening in 2027.1 point

I think its high time you drop the Pack and makes the Colts your number one team. Avoid the frustration of having expectations.....1 point

All that counts is the Bears are preparing for the Rams, and the Packers are lining up golf tee times.1 point

Good game for sure. At the moment, I’m sure both teams are very happy with their TE choices.1 point

Honestly, if South Bend is anything like Fort Wayne, I have a hard time believing anything they say. Sorry, had some dishonest run-ins with the media in the past. Glad to hear that Freeman was the bigger man in this situation and walked away. The little guy will have a story to tell his friends. A win/win.1 point

From last year, all 5 OL, the starting RB, 3/4 of the starting WRs, the entire DL, half of the linebacking corps (the other half was from the same family that has a New Pal connection) and 4/5 starting DBs played in New Pal's youth football league. The ones who weren't - four were from two families, one that had a New Pal connection, the other a military family who moved to Indiana from out of state. Another moved over from Triton Central.1 point

Got to give credit where its due...been watching Loveland quite a bit recently. He's darn good and has transitioned quickly from his college days. Good for the Bears. Maybe both teams did well drafting TE's in the first round...perhaps both win with those picks! Things do look promising for Loveland having quite the QB throwing to him....they are making a nice combination on the field.1 point

I know the Colts fans love Tyler Warren, and there were a lot of Bears fans who thought the Bears should have taken him instead of Colston Loveland. How does that draft pick look now? 8 catches for 137 yds. and a crucial 2 pt. try in his first playoff game. No rookie has ever done that before. Bears have the TE position locked down for the next several seasons.1 point

I will take speed on defense as there is a point where an OL can be too big. I think we saw too in the Ole Miss game, they were wearing down as the game went on.1 point

It was on ESPN Sportscenter. Maybe 15 minutes after the game. There was really nothing groundbreaking in the interview besides the timing of that question. He is acting quite arrogant. The handshake after the game was simply childish imo.1 point

While the Packers deserved to lose, this is something George Halas would have never said, or as an owner, allow his coach to say. Appreciate the rivalry and the intensity that comes with it, but be better Ben. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1485263446672466/?fs=e&fs=e1 point

Longtime Mt. Vernon (Fortville) head coach Doug Peacock passed away today from cancer. Was a great coach and an even better man. He will be missed.1 point

No, why would it? There is not a rivalry with Notre Dame as they don’t play enough. When/if we beat Miami, this will go down as the greatest season in college football history1 point

I believe this was part of a multi-year plan to upgrade facilities across the district. I know new stands were planned at Tech, too.1 point

PRO WRESTLING = ENTERTAINMENT NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE = ??? Any other answer other than entertainment is simply wrong I mean we laud the entertainment factors of Mike Leach and how he did things....... We get bored with can answers in press conferences. An extremely confident coach not afraid to share is authentic thoughts of his employers bitter rival is bad...... OOOOOH KAY cmon CBJ even when asked today, ( you should check it out) YES, I have talked to GEORGE..... we share the same vision ...... What's next? Bears players need to apologize for wearing cheese graters on their heads on live tv and grating cheese?0 points

I appreciate AUTHENTICITY Did you check out Coach Johnson's presser today? DOUBLE DOWNED I DO NOT LIKE THAT TEAM THIS IS A RIVALRY CHANGE THE MINDSET He started it DAY 1, "I really enjoy beating Mike LaFleur twice a year". Played 3 games in 35 days or something like, against the organizations most BITTER and long standing Organization that has been in their way since DAY 1 of GSH and VINCE AUTHENTIC and DELIVERED this year (and packers will not go away any time soon imo) Worth a listen from someone who has been in locker rooms at that level0 points

HARD PASS ON THIS OPINION Only difference these days from the 100000s of other locker rooms is the fact.camera follow everyone everywhere in 2026 I say CRANK IT UP BEN When you have TO CHANGE MINDSET, especially when comes to this particular ORG vs the Bears Org, yes, INJECT THIS ALL IN MY VEINS and then some more. BEN JOHNSON says YOUR DECADES of dominance is OVER or least you will need to actually show up unlike the Packers teams from the last 15 years when the division too busy waddling in obscurity He has been hampered with some soft tissue issues, however, from the angle of my seats, (c0oming right at me, there was NO WAY, he could of cut LOVE off to the stick, so nothing to see here, but understand the questioning of that particular player......... OH MY GENTS: The horror of Coach Ben Johnson not kneeling and rolling out the Red Carpet from the Bitter Rivals, overall THORN and Nemesis of the BEARS ORGANIZATION and a TEAM that has absolutely THROTTLED and made them their whipping boys since The Magic Man, to Favre, to AROD to whatever you want to call this regime..... Bears finally have a front office and MORE IMPORTANTLY a Head Coach who does NOT cater to anyone and absolutely changed the mindset of the Bears locker room.... Oh poor Packers fans.... they didn't hug at mid field.... .perhaps their DC should have been a bit more in house with his assessment of the upcoming game, same from a couple of their players, eye ball emoji. NIXON..... Just a suggestion....0 points
