  1. Yea I never said any of that. Frankly I could give two shits about Harbaugh, Michigan, or OSU for that matter. You want Michigan to be in the conversation for elite program. Do it again and then do it again.

  3. Piratefan You dont know. You make things up all the time. Nobody went to Shamen. No locker room issues and NO one transferred. Read what the man said in the article. Family, family is pulling him away from city. As I have stated before been to every game for 20 years. My youngest played for him was team captain and loves the man. Wish my other two boys could have played for him. Just a huge loss for City. Wish Coach Mason nothing but the best and thank you coach !! A job well done !!

  4. Not at all. They ran the table and won the Title. Did all that they could do. But, I don't think they should go down in history as an absolutely dominate team. Their SEC schedule was pretty weak this year and they had some stinker performances. Replay the Oregon and TCU games and I would pick Georgia to win both; however, I feel the MOV in both of those was a fluke. Sometimes disaster strikes and it just snowballs into a collosal ball of crap. I think too many definitive statements/hot takes are being made over the TCU final score. Georgia was extremely fortunate to even be in that game in the first place. Ohio State had them beat more than once. Credit to Georgia for coming back, but I don't think Georgia wins that game if Harrison Jr. doesn't exit. They may not have had enough time to come back had the officials called targeting on the play to give Ohio State 1st and Goal instead of having to settle for a FG.

  5. ***Anyone who can explain this with better clarity...please chime in. After reading this it may be clear as mud.*** Instead of SF points only being added together in a block of years (2 year classification cycle), they would accrue over any continuous 4 year period. I like this because you don't have the arbitrary occurrence of School A winning back to back titles in the "same cycle" and moving up, and school B winning back to back titles in separate cycles and not moving up. Also a 4 year period is longer and doesn't allow one class of stud players to effect the classification of an entire program. More points over a longer time shows that the program is truly "successful" and not just a really good class. Does it mean schools will be bumped up or down more often? Yes Does it mean sectionals will need to be adjusted more often? Yes Is it ok if the answer to those questions is "Yes"? Also, yes.

  6. When we were in the process of creating the current format I suggested this. It didn’t get much traction from the IHSAA. They wanted the 32 5A 32 6A setup. But it’s been 10 years now. Maybe they’d be up for a change.

  7. Oh, there are plenty of people who want it. Just no one competent.

  9. If you are going to make SF a 4-year rolling cycle, then why not let the issue of p/p in 1A, or any other class, be organic?

  10. That is just too logical and makes too much sense. If I designed the system, it would be exactly that.

  11. My "evolving" thoughts on classification: 1a = smallest 32 2a - 5a = classes of 64 6a = top 32 No P/P allowed in 1A SF is rolling 4 year cycle.

  16. Even though Harbaugh got off the snide, he’s still OSU’s beotch.

  17. I would like to see them make 1A 32 teams and 5A 64 teams. Bye week could really help rosters of less than 40 players. Be fun to shake things up a bit.

  18. What’s interesting in these 2 cases is that the defensive player absorbed the blow by the ball carrier in the chest region and was injured. To your point, the change in the way defense is played now may be opening up a larger target zone for the defensive player inadvertently. Interesting thought.

  19. So, was the Texans’ win over the Colts Louie Smith’s biggest win for the Bears? 😂🤣😅

  20. Today Chris Ballard confessed that the Colts problems are "all on him." And I agree wholeheartedly! He shouldn't be around for it to be on him any longer!

  21. You could, potentially, put 64 in 5A ... the current 32 and the top 32 of 4A ... and have a doubling effect of 1041 at the bottom and 2096 at the top. It's just slightly more than the range in 4A right now and would probably be less negatively impactful in 5A vs. 4A.
