    I seem to recall a trip in my early years of officiating to a certain southeastern Indiana school known for both football and band being told by the AD: ”the band will not be off the field before halftime is over, but you can’t flag us, because nobody effs with our band.”

    I was down there at the beginning of the season for a MS game. Played two games and I don’t recall an issues with numbers, but frankly I’m old and can’t remember what I was doing five minutes ago.

    Seymour/BNL appears to be a pick-em as does JC/Madison. I went with Seymour based on home field and the fact I think their passing game is legit. It’s tough to defend that many weapons. They don’t do anything fancy, but what they do they do very well, ultimately it comes down to Jimmies and Joes. Which leads me to JC, and I suspect JC has too many Jimmies and Joes standing on the sidelines in street clothes.

    Men’s VB has been ready for several years, women’s wrestling is not. From one of the horse’s mouth.
