Nah, I'd rather have the kiddos using "barstool" Twitter accounts than whizzing all over the GID. There just aren't as many people closely following this year, and there there aren't a ton of SIAC folks on GID anymore anyway. I think the Memorial folks are a little more tight-lipped this week than usual... I'll take: Castle over Memorial by 17. Tigers will have trouble scoring, which means the D will get tired. I expect Castle to pull away late. Mater Dei over Reitz by 21. MD is building momentum heading into the tournament. Reitz pounded Bosse, but so has everybody else. Jasper over Vincennes by 21. I think it will be close for a while, but Lincoln can't start as slow as they did last week against Memorial. Bosse over Harrison by 3. The "yeesh" game of the week. Somebody gets a much-needed win. I'm still pulling for our neighbors even though they made us sit on the visitors side. Central over North by 28. Central will beat you as bad as they can and tell you about it the whole time. North is leaking oil something fierce the last 3 weeks. I would have bet a lot of money after Wk. 2 that North would finish better than 5-4.

BINGO. Our school did a horrible job and we had over 35% of our students out due to contact tracing until we had to go virtual for 9/21 for a week or so. During that time, they magically figured out ways to properly distance class rooms and expanded lunch into aux gym. Not sure what we were doing all summer, but it sure as heck wasn't putting a realistic and reasonable plan in place.

Which might illustrate the problem. Sagarin is not fool-proof. The Sag numbers for the SIAC teams (and Summit) are all artificially low because they don't play any non-conference games. I agree 100% Titan32. No. The IHSAA starts getting money at Regional. Sectional schools split sectional gate.

We don't have gymnastics, so there is zero chance of that happening. Can she pay soccer? As for Castle, they were the reason the game with Bosse was cancelled, so IMO they should not share even though the same losses would mean a higher win percentage. While all signs would indicate a full-strength Castle would have beaten Bosse, but maybe not so certain if 15 guys were contact traced out. But, as Titan 32 says, in 5 years nobody will really care.

Well, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Glad to be home at Enlow in Round 1. Northview will be a tough opponent.

I don't think Castle can tie for SIAC champion because the win total would be less. Also, if we're being accurate it would be "Castle forfeit" because they are the team that had the COVID-19 issue, not Bosse.
