NK lost to Linton by 2 scores at home. MD by 28 or more.

It seems down here In SW IN that for games where a big crowd is expected, the 2 schools will often do pre-sells simply to avoid long lines at ticket booths. We do them for regular season games too.

Under Hurley we are 3-0 vs BC, sooo..... And, at least our game at LOS wasn’t over at the half, like the Semi-State game was.... LOL, just giving it back to you....

2008 3A South Semi-State was at Enlow. Frigid. Cold. 2009 3A South Semi-State was in Indy at the place in near downtown... Tech? Surrounded by brick wall (like Enlow).

I think HH getting by in a squeaker last week will give them extra motivation this week. I expect the game to be closer than the first match-up, but a little more comfortable for HH than last week. Patriots 28-14.

While I hated the bye week, it did help Memorial get healthy and we looked sharper on O against Boonville than what we had in prior weeks. I would have liked to have seen Jasper give Central a little more competition early on than what they did, but the result wasn't very surprising. If you let Central get rolling, they will smother you. Memorial will have to play a complete game, but eliminate the turnovers. Should be a great game and a hostile environment. As TigerFan20 points out, this will be the 100th meeting of Memorial and Central. Memorial holds the overall advantage 59-38-2, but Central has won 4 of the last 5.

I wasn’t surprised with this result. MD is going to be a tough out.

LOL. Yea, I expect most will be in black or blue. we'll have gumbo and white chicken chili at the tailgate in South lot. All are welcome.

I hope Boonville HS has good cell reception so I can follow HH @ GS on the interweb. Good luck to both teams in what should be a great game.

I think whoever wins Sectional 28 is the (mostly) clear favorite to win 3A state, but the favorite doesn't always win.

That seems a little overdramatic. BC is in 3A because that’s what the enrollment dictates. They will have some tough games ahead. I would peg them the favorite, but they were probably the favorite the past few years too and came up short (a couple were even pretty lopsided losses). You just never know...

Real grass, no crazy crown like at Castle. The Pioneers haven't played at home since Sept. 27 so it should be in tip-top shape. I'll be in Boonville tomorrow so I'll drive through and see how it looks.

Nobody I know considers the Memorial teams from 2012-2014 a "stain on program's history". But I do agree that with a couple of exceptions, the recent match-ups between GS and Memorial have been very competitive, exciting games and most could have gone either way. It's why the rivalry is so good. Both have great coaches, kids, & fans. Until this year, it was an eventual tournament match-up a lot of people were already looking forward to in August...

I am very disappointed in all of you. LOL. Nah, very well said Patriot74. I think it is a sign of well-earned mutual respect. I sure wish I could see a replay of this one on TV.

We aren't supposed to discuss rumors and such on the GID, with good reason.

My sense is this would make it very difficult for a football coach to build a program at a school that struggles in football but has a good basketball program.
