But I have the utmost respect for them any time GIbson Southern is not facing them/there is an upcoming matchup between the 2. i just think it’s funny how y’all think you reinvented the wheel and will be doing something HH hasn’t seen. GS alone brings so many looks/formations to a game...they can go run heavy. They can pass they will run the RPO a lot....every year GS has one of the top offenses in the state in terms of points and yards. but sure. You guys will have something brand new....brand new straight from the GS film your coaches have been glued to all week 😂

Chatard Vs West Lafayette. if Chatard was playing in the south like they have and probably should, this would likely be the state championship game....although I wouldn’t count Heritage hills out on the matter. That team seems like a special one...one of their fans here said they will have to replace 21 of 22 starters on the team...something crazy with that said Southridge @ Heritage Hills will be a good one. First game of the two was 7-7 at the half. Second half got out of hand really fas. Bunch of turnovers and HH was scored 5 times on 15 offensive plays. Nobody should look over Southridge. Even after their phenomenal QB decided to focus on baseball/basketball, losing a ton to graduation after a 2017 title + semi state appearance in 2018, AND getting bumped up to 3A in the second toughest sectional for 3A....they are legit. What a coaching job being done over there. Next man up and don’t miss a beat

Personally. I see fleck as more of a....players coach or discipline coach. He may not out scheme but he gets his guys to buy in and do what they are suppose to. he keeps the house in check and the lights on. the browns need that. They have the talent. No doubt. But they need better management and to get that locker room under control

Update- just checked. They made the final in 2015 but lost to GS. The last time they made it was I believe 1986. And the last time they were still in the hunt while GS was not was 1994

Looks right to me...I think Tri West won it all in 2014 too for Gibson Southern since Hart took over...there have been 84 wins and 15 losses 5 losses now to Heritage Hills (the most) 3 losses to Memorial 2 losses to Chatard. Thats 11/15...not so bad but the message is clear....GIbson Southern continues to have the horses to win it all, they just seem to fall short when facing the historic 3A powerhouses. ohhhh maybe next year lol. I hope so. Got plenty of good Kids in the ranks. Have a lot of holes to fill too. This current Junior class will need to step up more knowing about 70-75% of the team will graduate. I’m sure they will be busting tail in this offseason with the underclassmen.

Mannn. I haven’t read that or anything really since the game....but at least give us a back story and source. You can’t be coming in hot like that without showing us where you are coming from. I just see you quoting some tweet on a single play and it looks like you made a ton of conclusions based on that tweet. no doubt GS definitely is the media favorite outside of the SIAC usually. It’s not unwarranted completely though. GS has shown plenty of reason why they should be followed closely over these past years

Looks like that tweet was at about the time it happened...maybe halftime ...nobody mentions “luck” ...or how a team coulda shoulda woulda and it’s before the game even ended this is the 2nd time I’ve seen you pull something absolutely out of left field in a slight attack on GS. What is your problem dude? The first one you quoted someone talking about other teams and went on complete tangent about how GS shoulda “spread the ball out 4 wide and make HH play man to man” as a complete sarcastic response and mocking of how the first game went. this one you’re talking about a Twitter guy for 812 hoops not giving HH enough respect because he said something about what happened on the play before the game ended (and it wasn’t even biased at that)....or was close to being over... Like come on man...what is your problem? You got some pent up rage about a previous GS or HH game? Even if that’s the case, HH and GS fans have been very classy to each other all season for the most part. Tons of respect between the two communities..but also an absolute desire to see the other lose any given Friday

Congrats to HH on the hard fought victory. Crazy game. For GS they won this game in 2 of 3 phases. Special teams was the lone one they lost and it was the difference. Up 13 in the mid 4th and 2 great punt returns put HH in scoring position right away. They take the lead 21-20... blocked FG at the end and misses PAT in the 2nd absolute heartbreakers to lose on. GS played almost as perfect of a game as they could and the community has to be so proud and impressed with how much they improved from the regular season loss to HH.

GS drives the field with 2 1/2 left. GS calls timeout with 2.5 seconds left. FG formation kick is blocked..... HH wins in an absolute ball game
