I too would rather have them play Carmel or other team that comes out of sectional 4 and have limited success. As long as they are competitive. They were in 2017 until they imploded/went into thug mode, 2018 they were not very competitive. But I'll take that over pasting Kokomo by 40 in regional year after year in 5A. Snider should want to play the best. I do like the 5 year, but maybe same thing could be done in 3 or 4 years, most "dominate" team cycles due to heavy class(es) is a 1 to 2 year stretch at the upper level it seems.

I will say Homestead is certainly due, but they always seem to choke vs Snider or Dwenger and/or lay an unexpected egg against Luers, Carroll or another mid level team. We will see. Can't wait for season to start less than four weeks now !!

I would have 1-3 the same. 4 down to 6, 7 to 4 & 8 to 7 and 6 to 8.

You are correct. I believe it started in 2016, after 2 year cycle of 2014 & 2015?? 100% sure it was not in play in 2011 Think it is fairly normal for a few (3-5) transfers every year. Who do you have that is moving from one FWCS to another this year?

If even going to Michigan City, Carlson's a drive inn about a mile or so from stadium has great ole fashion drive inn food. And, there is a local ice cream shop, bubbles across the street. All you need before a game !!

I would move the above order and have Saints #1, Homestead #2, Snider #3 and Wayne #4. Think Northrop is too high and Luers to low.

I was just thinking why don't Football teams/players do like a flag football club for a few weeks/a month or so in summer. That way they could do at least some form of practicing??

To add, Fort Wayne Luers for a few times had 4+ loses in regular season because they were playing against 4A & 5A teams in regular season. Come time for playoffs, they would have deep run, if not win it all. 2009 & 2007 are good examples.

I doubt the IHSAA will move Carmel out if sectional 4 and risk not having two high profile Indy area schools in the title game. I could see them moving Fishers or HSE to 5 and keeping Carmel in #4. The best bets for North team this year has to be the usual suspects. Carmel and Penn as 1A & 1B, then either Snider & Westfield

So, obviously f Snider earls 6 points in next 2 year cycle they stay in 6A, but if they only earn 2 they will then drop to 5A for the 2021 season??
