  1. This is why I don't know why you're guaranteeing Blue Rings for the 'Dogs. IMO, that is an offense that will not work against a big/strong defense that's also faster than you, aka LN or Ben Davis from last year.
  2. Yep. I did like what CW and Thomas said yesterday in their pressers about play calling. They seem to be in sync on where Waldron failed. Now, good luck making it happen with an injured OL that has backups starting at both Tackle positions. Couldn't agree more, winning solves all. Perfect opportunity on Sunday to end the losing streak to the Packers.
  3. I keep hearing rumors about shady things his staff has done in West Lafayette. You have any insight?
  4. so, you're saying you've already talked to the wife and kids about a move from Crown Point to Carmel?
  5. Nothing over the top great in his supporting cast. Just "good" 6A skill players. Their top WR can definately test CP's secondary if Sullivan has time to throw. He had some nice receptions in the game I watched against HSE's secondary.
  6. I'm also curious to see how CP's secondary handles the Carroll WR's. The Chargers have a few with speed and ability to make difficult catches. I would be surprised if this was a high scoring game considering CP's offense has a tendancy to burn clock and I doubt Carroll's O will be completely kept in check. IF the Caroll OL can contain pressure and Sullivan is on this could be a lot closer than people think. Otherwise, I'll take CP by about 17 as I don't think Carroll will keep the CP offense in check. Crown Point does a good job in their 3-5 of making it hard for the QB to read a blitz or drop back in coverage from the LB'ers. Carroll's O is a really good litmus test for CP.
  7. Personally, I think any poll that has Danville (KY), East St. Louis and Lincoln Way East in the Top 60 should include LN somewhere.
  8. There was no logic in that statement. He saw a very young DC offense get bottled up against a great Snider D and foolishly thinks it correlates to this year. Personally, at this point Bloomington South is about the only team remaining in 5A who would surprise me if they ended up in LOS. 5A is wide open, IMO.
  9. Plus it will really kill Parkhurst if Crown Point, Valpo and Andrean can all win Titles throughout the recent era of him predicting a Merrillville title nearly every year. Admittedly, even as a DAC apologist, I'd probably pull for the South in 5A out of spite if the Pirates make it.
  10. I'm hoping Heritage HIlls takes 3A so by no means am I knocking the Patriots. I will just add I remember when Heritage Hills finally got over the Chatard hump YEARS ago and many thought it was a foregone conclusion they would beat Andrean at the RCA Dome and that didn't play out as planned. Wow, didn't realize that game was 20 years ago.
  11. How much are you alarmed that players have asked for Bagent to start over CW? That's not good. I wouldn't be surprised if Moore was one of them. He and CW have zero chemistry.
  12. Seems like it would be correct. Though I would probably take all of the SEC teams within the Top 15 in a neutral field game vs. Penn State or Indiana.
  13. He wasn't even on the injured list heading into Sunday. Finds out he's probably going to play and then calls in "sick." King Poles has completely botched the building of the OL along with making the mistake of keeping Flus this year. Flus' comments for hiring Waldron directly contradict his comments for firing Waldron.
  14. C'mon, there's a difference between saying you need to see it to believe it (I'm in that boat as well) and straight out insinuating that 6A teams north of 64 shouldn't even believe it's possible.
  15. Of course it’s obvious the success has always been in Indy at the 6A level. So you would tell him or any other 6A true Northern coach they’re just playing for a participation trophy?
  16. Do you ever work any 6A games North of 24? You should and have these comms with coaches of the 6A schools. Start with Crown Point. I’m sure Buzea would you enjoy you telling him that he’s avoiding the BIG BOYS.
  17. IF you can beat the HCC two years in a row and draw Brownsburg in LOS, why not? Besides, how is having a defeatest attitude going to help anyone? Should Coach Moore have just said I don't have the raw talent or enrollment that Ben Davis and Warren get so I should just accept my place in line? F*** no. He developed something to change the narrative.
  18. Haha! I know that's an unpopular opinion. All of the population growth in south Lake County is in Crown Point and Hanover Central's district. RDP is falling behind if the past 2 seasons are any indication of the future. You live in Crown Point. Do you see any reason to believe the talent is going to dry up?
  19. Haha. I liked this response:
  20. Sound familiar?
  21. Getting a Week 2 game against a Chicago team will be tough. The Chicago Catholic League teams and the different Suburban Conferences all typically schedule each other in OOC. Very rare for someone to go out of State. It's probably an unpopular opinion in south Lake County, but the Crown Point vs. Lowell rivalry needs to come to an end. At this point up and comer Hanover Central is a better option in south Lake County. In a perfect world Crown Point mimics the Fort Wayne 6A's and go all Indy or Chicago in OOC. And stay away from the Chicago Public League.
  22. I get what he's saying. It's a bloodbath. Everyone is capable of beating the top dog. There are no Crown Point vs. LaPorte type of games or Carroll vs. South Side, Ben Davis vs. North Central, etc. Noblesville finishes dead last with 0 HCC wins and only one conference game had a MOV higher than 7 points. That's a wild stat to me. And 2 years in a row they put a running clock on a team that just finished 5-2 in SAC play.
