    It's playoff time! This is the beginning of the real season, imo. I hope to see a lot of Irish fans at Tech tonight. Dress warm and be there for this team!

    That's really a shame! It sounds like the same scenario as Cathedral's Markese Stepp. Those hamstrings just seem to take awhile to heal for some.. Hopefully he'll be back for an injury free senior year.

    I agree! It's fun to travel and see new venues. No distance is too far to travel to watch my school play.

    I feel bad for Roman. He seems like a nice young man, but his dad is a handful, or more. Roman's talents were greatly overblown when he moved to this area from New Jersey.

    It is what it is! You either deal with it or turn in your pads for the season. Good coaches, and programs, just learn to deal with whatever schedule comes their way.

    They pretty much ran a spread. Plainfield really didn't give too much effort to stopping them, or so it seemed. The Quakers have excellent team speed and that's always a big plus at the high school level. Well as an Irish fanboy, I hope you're correct.

    It's the only time I've seen Plainfield this season, but they seemed to have trouble tackling. Decatur Central is a legitimate threat in this sectional.

    It was ugly! I really didn't see this Irish team as a potential playoff team but I never expected them to be blown out the way they were last night! Maybe it's time for BK to move on. He just doesn't seem to be able to get them to play at their best week in and week out. Also, Book is a below average QB. Last night he was abysmal.

    The only thing on Cathedral's mind right now is Terre Haute South. Gotta win that one to get to Decatur Central.

    Plainfield vs. Decatur Central is live on channel 23 in Indianapolis and also channel 81.

    Actually watching the replay of the game does give one an advantage. I do believe that this case is closed however. I attended the game and watched the replay on tv. I was just telling Bob, who I consider a good friend, to not waste his time trying to defend the crew. Now let's put this one to rest!

    No more need for polls. The real season begins this week. Then in a few weeks we'll know who is #1.

    No it was not. The only Cathedral game with a lot of penalties was the Bishop Chatard game and that was not the same crew either. I have seen all nine Cathedral games this year, including 3 in Cincinnati, and there was no problems with any personal fouls or unsportsmanlike conduct in any of them. I only complain when a complaint is due, and this time complaints are due.

    Yeah, CG didn't run much wingT last night. Mostly a spread. I was surprised because they were very successful with the wingT for quite a few years. I guess they didn't have the personnel this season maybe because of the inexperience of their young QB. He threw the ball quite well last night, btw!
