He now holds all the Irish records for receiving for a tight end. His blocking efficiency isn't entering into that, but he does have room for improvement in that part of his game. And he's only a junior, but should declare for the NFL after this season. All things indicate that will happen.

The Oklahoma State comeback wasn't a surprise, they were almost a CFP team. I don't remember offhand the USC game 3 years ago, but I do remember the Anthony Davis game and that one turned at halftime. Last night the Irish were up 25-6 and BYU was deep in their own territory with nothing going, and then there's the run for the first down. It took the Irish a while to get the momentum back. I may be overstating some, but it was a game that it looked like the Irish had the game won and let up.

He has Jaron Tibbs and Kenrick Gilberts from Cathedral coming in next year. Boilermaker fans will enjoy the play of both, especially Tibbs. He can catch the ball and run with it after catching it. He had an 80 yard TD call back last night where he just outran the entire Brebeuf secondary. Lineman down field.

IMO, the Colts need, and not in any order, a new GM, a new coach, a new left tackle and a young QB that they can develop. Right now they don't have any outstanding talent at these positions, again imo. Also, that's not all they need either.

That was as sudden a flip as I've seen in all my years of watching Notre Dame football. I'm glad they regained their toughness and held on for the win, 28-20. Going for two early in the game makes you feel like the coaching staff isn't sure if the Irish were going to score some more. Kick the ball and score more td's! Also, keep your head in the game when you have BYU 3rd and 16 or 17 inside their own 5. That first down started the slide. A 25-6 lead in the 3rd quarter, doesn't mean the game is over! Michael Mayer is, by far, the best tight end in ND history, and the best in the Country now.

I forgot to mention that Jaron Tibbs was named homecoming king. Good night for the big guy!😇

The longest play of the night was negated by a penalty. Jaron Tibbs took a short pass from Danny O'Neil, made a couple of moves and then sped past the Brebeuf defensive backs for what would have been about an 80 TD. It was called back for a lineman downfield. I know the Irish linemen are quick, but not that quick.😉 Jaron is simply the most gifted football player in the state of Indiana. He's a pretty good basketballer too.

I was 12 when I saw my first 500, and younger than that when I saw my first dirt race. Back to the game now.

I did! The Irish won 42-21 and it was a beautiful night for football! The Braves had no penalties tonight, but they turned the ball over 6 times. Next up for the Irish will be Center Grove.

Oh yeah! I'm a dirt track fan! I've probably been to 500 sprint car races in my life. I've also seen 67 consecutive Indy 500's. I do go to some paved tracks too.

It was ugly!!!! But the Colts won 12-9 in OT. Bronchos went for the win at the 5 yard line on 4th and one, and the defense stopped 'em. Winning ugly is sure better than losing ugly!
