No, I didn't.  When I read the word "lefty" I automatically think about handedness, not political ideology.    So if I'm left handed and lean "left" politically then I'm pretty much bullet proof in some industries?

Bob Kravitz is reporting Doyel is serving a two-week suspension and is expected to return on Monday, 5/13.

Probably because every time you posted something on there the responses and replies were brutally honest towards his lack of awareness of how ridiculous he was in his entire situation

Another overreaction by the Indianapolis Star.  Color me shocked.  It is like them virtue signaling by not using the word "Indians" when referring to the Indianapolis Indians baseball team,  they just use something like "The Indianapolis minor league baseball team."  Lame.

I don't think it was an overreaction. You can't say what he said. If he had left it after the gesture (which was weird in itself), then it would have been just awkward. This was more than awkward. It was creepy and unnecessary.

It was incredibly unprofessional conduct by a journalist. Giving heart signs to a female basketball player then compounding it with what he said. You can't do that as the "columnist of record" for the Star.
