Agree with point 1. Would Michigan players ever let OSU plant a flag in AnnArbor regardless of how they acted leading up to the game?

Dunno as it’s becoming more and more commonplace recently and OSU hasn’t beaten Michigan since 2019 during their run of “expected wins.”  They became apathetic about the rivalry.

Here’s a clip from earlier this year.

LOL. Yeah, that’s trashy. Still don’t think Ohio State players should just let the Michigan players plant TWO Michigan flags in the middle of the O. Would Michigan players allow the same in Ann Arbor?

I don’t have an ounce of empathy for a program trying to send a message,  lines his team up in victory formation and punches in a TD when the other team was not calling time outs and had conceded. When asked about it, Coach puffs up his chest reminding everyone who they are.

He then has a QB troll the opposing coach with his actions and words to the camera at games end the week prior.

Both are eating humble pie this week and I hope it’s dry as cement. What goes around, comes around…Karma

was there some secret code sent out to all of D1 players to go ahead and just go out throwing punches when you lose?

At least 3 or 4 flag in middle of field

The bitter rivals of BYU and HOUSTON got after it as well.

Current seeding. Not a fan of Alabama being back in. And as I mentioned before, Georgia and Texas could meet 3 times this season. Based on this, it could be twice in a 3 game span.
May be an image of football and text that says 'WEEK 15 12-TEAM CFP BRACKET PROJECTION FIRSTROUND FIRST ROUND 12 ARIZONA ST. 5 PEIN STATE QUARTERFINALS 9 4 BOISE STATE TENVESSEE SEMIFINALS 8 OHIO STATE OREGON 11 ALABAMA 6 6 NOTRE DAME NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 3 SMU 10 INNDIANA GEORGIA 2 TEXAS 2SAI CFP COLLEGH TOP25 oTBa LAFOFF FOOTBALL TOP 25 PRASINTIDY AT&T'

I'm going to say this again!  Alabama doesn't deserve to even be in consideration after losing to Vanderbilt, 40-34 and a weak Oklahoma team 24-3!  It'll be a shame if they are included, and I don't want to hear about the SEC and their exclusivity!

That top bracket with Penn State, Arizona State and Boise State just seems......wrong. Oregon, Texas and SMU would all likely have a tougher game than Boise will get. Agree on Alabama. I don't think Miami's resume is the greatest, but Bama's loss to Oklahoma is a major blemish.

Any of you guys seen SMU play? I haven't. No idea if they're legitimately good or feasted on a weak schedule.

Yep....and I don't see a scenario that knocks them out of it either.

How about three losses, two of them to weak teams!

Oh I get that....and even said in my post that I was not a fan of them being in. But Nowlin just posted the most likely reason why they are in.

Oh , I agree with money and eyeballs on TV have a lot to do with "Bama being on the cusp.

Unless I am mistaken, Notre Dame over NIU and Bama over Vandy were the only power 4 point spreads larger than OSU over Michigan in which the underdog won outright.

And all three teams who were upset are likely playoff bound, lol.

It was fun when the regular season used to matter.  Now you can take up to three weeks (25 percent of your season off) and still play for the title…

I'd rather see a one loss MAC team make the playoffs than a three loss Power Four school. If you lose three games in one season, you don't deserve the opportunity to call yourself champion. There's an intrigue factor with a one loss team no matter the conference. There is no intrigue with a three loss team.

Shane Beamer of South Carolina with an elbow from the top rope.  They chose to play LSU in the non-conference and have three ranked wins...Penn State, Indiana, and Boise State have ZERO.  Notre Dame has ONE and a loss to a MAC team.

Alabama DID beat South Carolina, narrowly at home so I guess there is that.

I guess I'd rather see a one loss team get their opportunity to see how they'd do against a ranked opponent versus watching a team with three losses already, more than likely end their season with a fourth loss. A three loss team just doesn't interest me in the slightest. I get it, it's a money thing with Alabama.

Not sure why you keep bringing up Notre Dame. You're smart, you know that the Northern Illinios game has almost zero relevance now after how the Irish dismantled the rest of their entire schedule.

You’re not sure why he keeps bringing up ND’s loss to Northern Illinois? I am.

It’s a whole body of work.  That’s why.  It’s been well established in the other forum that we disagree when it comes to how we rank teams and that is fine but a loss is a loss.  A four TD favorite losing to a mid-tier MAC team is damning whether or not it happens in September or November.

I keep hearing the “money line” being dropped in relation to the SEC and Bama specifically but isn’t South Carolina also in the SEC?

Because it’s hilarious?

People still love to bring up the UM loss to App State nearly two decades later and I could make the argument that this season’s ND loss to NIU is worse.

That App State team won the FCS title the previous year and won it again in 2007 after beating UM…

This year’s NIU team finished 7-5 and tied for 6th in the MAC.
