sadly, I agree this is where this sport is heading

The day seems to be coming when the athletes’ only true connection to the school is the name on the front of the jersey.

Clemson wins. This will mix things up quite a bit. My original thought that Alabama would not be knocked out may be wrong. A 3 loss team likely getting a bye though? Or does Arizona State move ahead of Clemson in the rankings? That is a flaw in the system as it stands. I will be curious to see what changes next season.

Chatting with a brother during the late games, I think the 5,6,7, & 8 seeds have a bit of an advantage over the other 8 teams; they get to play at home....not just near the school, but an actual home game.

Absolutely the home games are a huge advantage. Especially for the northern teams if they play a southern team.

Projections I’m seeing is that ASU will be in top 4….which seems crazy.

No doubt.

Not sure if this is a knee jerk reaction, but one thing is for sure after watching those games yesterday…

I like Notre Dame chances more and more.

If James Franklin can put 37 points on that Oregon defense with a week to prepare, they are far from unbeatable.

A lot of question marks for almost every team.

While not a fan of either team, thought this was a cool photo….

I can't imagine a better feeling than going into a hostile environment where everyone hates you to compete in a football game.

I guess this was inevitable. May signal the beginning of the end for Bowls, other than those involved in the CFP.

Not saying you are incorrect with the prediction, but this did have some special cause. The Marshall Coach  resigned to take another job after winning the conference…that decision before their bowl game resulted in 25 players jumping in the portal immediately…guessing many players upset. Not saying it’s right…but don’t think that happens if coach doesnt take a new gig or at least not until announcing until after their bowl game bowl game.

Perhaps there should be a temporary closure of the portal during bowl season, until after the playoffs.

Penn State's backup QB just entered the portal stating he faced an "impossible decision."
