Something along the line of if he did wear a shirt and tie, it had to be NFL attire and they didn’t have NFL shirt and tie attire. Even before that when Jack Del Rio was the head coach in Jacksonville, he started wearing suits. The league initially said it was not approved sideline gear. They had a contract with Reebok then, so Reebok actually starting making shirts and ties for him to meet the NFL guidelines. It was a pretty impressive look too. So while the league has a say so, whoever has the contract for sideline apparel could help. 1 Quote

Also FTA, I forgot about Mike Tice in Minnesota. 1 Quote

Man I would hope not. According to Bussin With The Boys podcast, by starting Trey Lance today, Jerry Jones does not have to pay a $550,000 bonus to Cooper Rush reaching a snap count. ***some reports say that rush would have to hit roughly 80-85 snaps to get the total bonus. Remember when I posted potential bonuses, and you asked if coaches really call plays and make decisions based on that? Looks like McCarthy is one of those who does. Quote

Jim Nantz just reported that Mayo has been let go in New England. Man, what a cut throat business. 1 Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 Kraft has really messed all this up. 1.NEVER promise a guy to be th next guy...... 2. he panicked when other NFL teams came a calling and that's when he gave him the Next in line tag 3. Vrabel being available was not something on his radar and Kraft LOVES Vrabel 4. Mayo was way over his head, he never ran Defensive Meetings, that was Bill's boy, he ran meetings and called plays, so HE gets the coach in waiting? Big miss there 5. Sacrificial Lamb 1 Quote

Over the last decade or so, every time they started hot, they would collapse at the end. Muda69 Posted January 6, 2025 Author Posted January 6, 2025 Looking at the usual coaching change carousel in the NFL who ultimately makes a better head coach? The Offensive Guru types like Shane Steichen & Mike McDaniel or the Leader of Men types like Dan Campbell and Mike Vrabel? Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 Give me LEADER OF MEN Love the idea of Vrabel and Rees combo Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted January 7, 2025 Posted January 7, 2025 the tone seem to indicate you thought Vrabel wouldn't fit in Chicago with Rees because of style not because he was snatch up by Pats I think Vrabel and Pats are match yes, so don't think Bears can seal the deal there, but they get to interview him this week!
