I appreciate Bears putting together a nice list to try to find their guy, Vrabel has to be interviewed, just like Harbaugh HAD to but Warren and his relationship, (Led by Warren) didn't allow such things.   UGH 

No different the Whitesox who put together a package for the newest Asian pitching phenom, just like Cubs,Yankes, et. al.  At least they tried instead of assuming it was not going to happen.   I can respect that at least, even if you think Vrabel is a waste of time.

Vrabel would do awesome in Chicago. It’s a waste of time bc it’s a done deal in Boston.

Funny how all these talking heads are saying teams need to be patient with certain coaches. GMAFB.  Common sense folks have said this for years while you “experts” are making money off clicks and likes bashing these coaches left, right, and center during the season.

That's why I feel confident that I've been around enough that I don't need to read and watch anything on mainstream Sports television to form an opinion like this as well

Fair comments....my mind goes straight to HOF coach Joe Gibbs.  While I was never a Redskins fans during my years out there in the DC area, one had to admire what Gibbs accomplished.  Paid his dues as a college and NFL assistant for 15 years prior to getting the Redskins coaching job.  Started out 0-5 in his first season, on his way to an 8-8 record and 4th in the NFC East.  The rest is history....3 Super Bowl championships with 3 different QB's.  

Jack Kent Cooke as the owner and Bobby Beathard as the GM hired a man with coaching experience, then showed patience.  It paid off big time.

After investing time listening to the Bear's Brass yesterday, it's my understanding that they are going to cast a very large net including already hired head coaches in the NFL to guys like David Shaw to guys like Mike Kaftka who has been asked for interview s to the Giants but that hasn't been reported yet. I just may have some insight information 

 

Stuff like that , I don't think that changes Poles process at all with McCarthy denial

Jerry could do it just as a power move. That’s consistent with his ego issues. Or he could do it to take a little leverage away from McCarthy, at least temporarily. Or he could be doing it just to spite the Bears.

I don't think it's that deep. And maybe it's possible he is getting something out of it: a test run before interviewing with Kraft or possibly with Brady in Vegas.

What do you think about Warren? He dodges every question with meat like a true politician. His response when asked by about Poles only having 1 year left on his contract was ridiculous.

Interviewing for your career and sharing your vision isn’t that deep?  Or the Bears interviewing him isn’t that deep?  If so, that explains what a poverty franchise these bears are.

I have no issues with Warren from what I have seen so far, he is big picture, big bravado guy, I am cool with that, I believe him when he says he is there to assist Poles when called upon.    

As far as Poles contract, that goes back to day 1 3 years ago when Poles was hired, the press asked then and was given the same answer by Poles, that he will never discuss his contract status ever as the GM of the Bears, Poles when asked 2 days ago about contract, gave same answer as he did on day 1 on the job as he has done 3 years later.   I believe Warren was just respecting the wishes of Poles on this particiular topic, IE: his contract length and price
