3A South Semi-State--Batesville (9-3) at Heritage Hills (12-1)

Don't have the cool graphic yet, but lets get this party started! 

 

HH won in an expected blowout, congrats to North Harrison on the first sectional in school history and Coach Williamson on his retirement (he was my gym teacher in high school 30 years ago, didn't even know he coached there).

 

Batesville won in a very exciting comeback fashion over Tri West, would love to have seen that one, all I got was the continual updates on MaxPreps. 

Anyway, for the numbers.....in the HH "glory days" we played Batesville for 5 consecutive years.

This is the 7th meeting between Heritage Hills and Batesville and the Patriots lead the series 6-0.

This season Heritage Hills is averaging 39.8 ppg and giving up 10.2 ppg and Batesville is averaging 29.6 ppg

and giving up 20.1 ppg

Haven’t seen Batesville play this year- but from reading threads, seems they may not be as good as last year?? 
 

If that’s the case (and even IF they were)- buckle up- cause this HH squad is LOADED. 
 

I’m old and it has been MANY years- but I seem to remember the early 2000s Batesville squads running the ol Spinner single wing?? Am I remembering that correctly?? 
 

Those teams were tough and physical- but you weren’t beating the Patriots in those days.

It was chilly last year at Batesville.  We love the cold!  😄  It will be another exciting night in The Jungle!

How Tri-West lost that game, is mind boggling, and had the crew drinking more!

Pretty tight....I think this may end up looking like the 2nd half of the Memorial game.  Should be a slobber knocker.

Heritage Hills (75.32) is a 7-point favorite vs. Batesville (70.4) and has about a 63.06% chance of winning (2.05-point home-field advantage).

Doubters on Grid, Triple knew he'd find, but it'll be Bulldog BLs after Friday nights grind! 

The Jett will try hard to take flight, but the Golden Dome will be the best slinger this fight!

No one gives the dawgz the slightest chance, but Santa and his elves be ready for the dance. 

Triple C loves when the Dawgs prove the techno computers wrong, but at the end of the night, the pats will sing the same song.

As the canoe cats and Tiger rats, and gunslinging bruins, the dream team of pats, their season in ruin.

The dawgz will deliver, and give Santa's helpers a reason, to give up on football and focus on deer season.

What is it with you EAIC guys and your rhyming?  Is that just how you guys talk in that neck of the woods?  I imagine going to your regular season conference games over there is like watching "Friday Night Lights, The Musical"  😄  Not hating, I like it I guess, just a bit peculiar that's all.  Keep at it though.  Its always entertaining when we hit the EAIC rhyming clown posse troupe in the post season.

So clear something up for me.  The kid that played QB last year (jr) he is back this year?  My understanding was that he was committed to Notre Dame for baseball and his return to football was questionable.  It appears he is playing.  Yes?  

If so, the dude is a talent.  Very impressive in last years game.
