So what are you peoples thoughts on the upcoming season

 

I'll try to take a stab while guessing which class everyone is in

 

1a: dont care

2a: dont know

3a: down until the return of Chatard

4a: blowout by Chatard. idk is hh in 4a now? They looked good

5a: no clue could be competitive 

6a: it was nice of the mic to let the hcc have their moment but that moment is over and a mic team will take it again. Crown point will feign btf into a sense of false hope that the northwest actually plays football, but in reality they will show up and get pounded at semi state, or if they are lucky state

 

Someone get in here and entertain me for 5 months

5A: Cathedral moving down? Oh well, thought maybe New Pal or EC had a chance at this level. Guess not. 

6A: No reason to believe that Buzea won't have Crown Point ready out of the true north. The northeast will be a crapshoot between three teams. I've got Carmel's over under at 5.5 in Wrights first season.

Yes, Heritage Hills is up in 4A now due to the new rolling cycle.

Two championships in 25 years at the 3A level. Wonders how much of an impact they'll have on 4A. Chatard will be a beast to contend with, but EC and New Pal are out of the way. Does East Noble trend up, sideways, or down? I think it has the potential to be an interesting class. Hard not to bet against Chatard though.

They return their superstar Quarterback and D1 receiver, I don’t know who else returns for them. But they should be pretty good again. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them fight it with Reitz sometime in Sectional 24 (Assuming that’s the sectional they are in). It should be another good year for football down here.

I said "true" north. I never said they'd get by the HCC. Although it's happened two out of the past three years. Let's not be quick to forget that CP and Carroll are 2-1 vs the HCC the past three years (tournament.)

regardless, they just get blown out at state whenever it comes around

Don't sleep on Bishop Luers in 3A.  I'm telling you, they have 'horses' in the pipeline that are ready.

Yes, they are/were a 2A powerhouse.   With the talk that 3A is "down".... Why wouldn't they be looked at as breaking through in 3A?

Should be one of the favorites coming from the North, I believe they return a good amount of starters. 3A South has multiple teams that could make a run.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Luers is the representative in 3A from the North.

Without looking, I believe it was Westfield last year, CP the year before that, and Carroll the year before that. I understand your position. Regardless whether or not The North gets past the HCC, they don't show very well at state. 

I'm not from NW Indiana, so I don't know what CP returns. But we can all agree that they return a really good coach.

Bottom line is simple.  CP is 'no joke'.  

It's the fanatics that make things crazy here and other places once the season gets going that's the issue.  It is to say the least... Entertaining though.

They have full buy in from top to bottom, impeccable facilites, 100+ (might closerr to 150 at this point) in their program 9-12.   Successful Head coaches on staff to coach position groups across the board.

2A North probably still goes through Adams Central. Gotta think with this new transfer rule they will keep growing in enrollment with a lot of kids on the outskirts of Fort Wayne heading their way.

Yes sir, GS will be very strong this year although Memorial and Mater Dei will be good as well in sectional 32.
