Cathedral 32, Trotwood Madison (OH) 28.  The Irish had a 25-6 lead after 3 quarters and gave up 22 4th quarter points to fall behind 28-25.  The Irish got the ball back with 1:37 left in the game, and they drove the field to score the winning TD with 16 seconds left.

Trotwood Madison was one fine football team!  Hat's off to 'em!

They still are. If you saw the game, you'd see the sequence of events that led to the Northrop victory. Let's not pretend that Northrop is a bad football team. The Bruins will get walloped in 6A, but I would call them a good 5A team.

Thanks. But I’m sure you agree that view doesn’t shed much light on the call. However, I notice that the Hudl video has been shared to the IFOA library. I hope to get a chance to look at it later today.

I watched more of that game than the Snider fiasco. Big number beats little number on the scoreboard. As I have said repeatedly, Dwenger doesn’t impress me one bit. Sure, they will be a top 3 SAC team this year, but what does that mean? Conference is down.
