What a 5 year run by our Flying Jets! 5 semi states, 4 state appearances, 3 runner ups, and 1 championship. Hard to beat that run! Was a great run. Congrats to Andrean. Win one for the North 1 Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 What a warrior #12 QB for AC was, he was hammered all night long, just kept chugging along. Andrean did a great job of adjusting and focussing on the FB and played better on 1st down 2nd Q and on. Big 4th down 90 TD by AC, and wild Onside....... AC will be a tough out in 2026 in 3a as well, but one would assume Luers and AC have a future dance forthcoming in 2026 Quote

Believe next year AC plays them for 2 years in the regular season. Think the next couple of years will be difficult for AC. The sophomore class this year is not as strong and haven't been all the way through but have a few studs. The juniors this year will have to carry the load as seniors. This year's freshmen have talent & need to hit the weight room as they'll be needed. It's incredible how they are really starting to understand the game as their first couple years were rough (5-7th). The middle school teams have talent as well. Quote

kdets89 Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 Congrats to Andrean on the 2A state championship! Congrats also to Brownstown Central on a tremendous season. Both teams delivered the most competitive game of the weekend. Big opportunity for 2A North over the next two seasons, as both AC & Andrean will now be in 3A. 1 Quote
Bobref Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 Is Andrean officially the best program in the true North? Quote
BtownBraves Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 I know I’ll catch some flak on this one but do not care. The refs really missed one on the BC TD pass that was called out. Not sure how it looked on tv, but live in-person he was in. Either way, congrats to both teams. That was a heck of physical game to watch. Quote

That was a heck of physical game to watch. Watching on-line/TV, with the help of different angles and replay, the receiver certainly looked in bounds on the catch. The HL was really in a tough spot here. The QB was running towards his side, so he does have some responsibility there and can’t just fly down the sideline. Now, if there were 7 officials on the field (2 side judges downfield), there would have been another set of eyes much closer to the catch/no catch. And the BJ can’t give much help, if any on that play. 1 Quote
