He is undecided, with Clemson, Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State and Wisconsin on his list.  (Where are OSU and UM?)  His older brother Hayden is a TE at Wisconsin.

I'd put him at Notre Dame on either side of the ball.  But then I'm a bit biased.

What's his 40 speed?

Tight End or MLB if he's fast enough. Otherwise, role playing pass rusher. Too tall to be effective full time OL or DL.

Probably will most likely be determined by the position he's groomed for. 335 is going to be a HUGE TE. Morris Stroud was 6'10", but he only weighed around 250.

He has the reach of an OT. He is MUCH more fundamentally sound as an OL than he is a DL. It is obvious from the few plays on DL that the coaches just let him freelance and try to reek havoc in the back field with no real gap responsibility. As Coach Nowling said too, at that height, leverage would be an issue against O linemen he would be up against on the next level.

If you’re looking at strictly economic value, offensive tackles seem to do better monetarily than their defensive counterparts. There are 12 offensive tackles making at least $13 million annually in the NFL. All but 2 are left tackles. There are only 2 defensive tackles making that much. Now, if you happen to be a DE, that’s different, principally because edge rushers are in that category. There are 17 DE’s in the NFL making at least $13 million a year.

Moral of the story: OTs are more valuable than DTs. So, if that’s your choice, play offense. But if you can rush the passer, that changes the equation significantly.

Lots of studs for sure, but a LOT of "misses" (especially by the Pro Bowl criteria) you stated @DT.  Five star offensive linemen do seem to be at a premium but they are far from a slam dunk.

At his size offensive tackle would be ideal! Get his weight up to 325+ with his speed. To big to play Defensive end. Maybe could play interior tackle in a 4-3 but not 3-4 unless he got above 340+ at that height.

Sounds like a great athlete! Hopefully with what it sounds like is freakish ability he can be a presence for years to come.  good luck!

Watching the defensive film, he reminds me a bit of Dan Hampton.  Long and lean.  

QBs are too important in todays game, so he will become a mega millionaire protecting some QBs backside in the NFL.
