This should be a dandy!  Lots of D1 talent as both teams look pretty balanced on both sides of the ball.  And both teams will be well rested.😉

I think these two teams are about even.  I will say Brownsburg wins by a point.  If I say that, then maybe Cathedral will win. This will probably be the best game of the week.

Games this even on paper may come down to conditioning, playing in this heat.....

Both teams should have well rested starters. Could be a good or a bad thing in this case given the circumstances.

Conditioning def will play a heavy roll, and which team can run the ball effectively on 1st & 2nd down...I think this game also sets the tone for confidence playing down the road

On a positive note should be pretty warm all week during practice to get acclimated to the heat.

That’s not how it works…

If you say so. I would say acclimating to the high temperatures by staying well hydrated all week (especially all day Thursday and early Friday) and conditioning. Versus having cooler temperatures all week and hitting high humidity on Friday that you haven't prepared for. Then again what do I know, I am just typing a message on a message board.

Now this is true, but that's not what you originally said.

True heat acclimation takes longer than 96-120 hours.

Or perhaps you made an assumption to what I typed aside from the definition.

Nah, I didn't.  No worries though.  Here's to a good contest Friday evening and both teams escaping healthy.

I guess nothing has changed for this game.  I have not received, nor can I find, any change from the 7PM start.

I still can't remember why or when gametimes changed from 8PM to 7PM.  It makes more sense for a later start for all games, imho.

Thought I saw 7:30?

It happened sometime in the 90's, I think. When I was in high school in the early 90's it seemed like all the games were later than when I started teaching in 1997.

7:30, confirmed via Brownsburg athletics Twitter.

Absolute nonsense

Put me in charge and I'll get everyone acclimated to extreme conditions in less than 48 hours

Not quite sure 30 minutes would make much of a difference. Sun doesn't set until 8:29pm on Friday.

Yeah, if you're going to change it make it a full hour.  Oh well, that's more than I expected.

Is there a stream for this game?

I am assuming (since it is a Brownsburg home game) BCSC TV will be streaming it. I would imagine it will be available on IHSAA Champions Network (IHSAATV.org). I am not positive though.
