  1. Past hour
  2. What an idiot. All that because some 9 year old kid came in a little late?
  3. Pick'em selections BNL @ Jeffersonville The Stars will be smarting after blowing a 20-point lead in their loss to Bloom. North, while Jeff is just not a good football program right now. The Stars by 2-3 TDs. Seymour @ Columbus East Both teams are looking for their first win. The Olympians have played the better schedule in their first two games and are at home. Look for the Olympians to finally put four good quarters together in a win. Floyd Central @ Silver Creek Silver Creek lost by 19 to a Charlestown squad while barely beating Salem by four points. FC will be too much for the Dragons. New Albany @ Brownstown Central New Albany fooled us all with their season opening win, but they have shown they are who we thought they were since then.
  4. The one you speak of is the son of the head coach of KWC baseball. There is another senior baseball player that starts playing this week (3), Gunnar Hendricks, catcher on the baseball team, he will be MLB and FB. Big kid. They have improved a bit. We haven't. 9 penalties and special teams problems abound.....
  5. Yes week 3 typo
  6. Concordia @ Carroll- that standout Wr for Concordia almost went to Reed road, luckily for them he stayed and for good reason. He is their TD machine yet no one guy show will slow down Carroll after a humbling loss. Dinan takes mercy as the Chargers win by 28. Luers @Snider- This game will be closer than most think, Luers line play and passing threat play right now into Snider’s weakness. Too many cats and not enough dogs don’t hurt the panthers as much this week as they squeak one out by 3. Northrop @ Northside- The hype train didn’t travel well to New Haven last week for the expected slaughter of the New Haven, which was slightly sad to see. I’m sure the crowd will be larger this Friday, yet with the Bruins getting two of their best players back, those Legends fan will be showing up for a loss..Fwcs bragging rights go to Bruins as they win by 9. Southside @ Homestead- Homestead put the city on notice that are in fact 6A and have a football team. Kudos to them. Southside got brought down to earth last week at St. Joe and will put up a valiant effort although Sparty rolls by 35. ouch. Wayne @ Dwenger- I think mid 90s may be the last time Wayne beat Dwenger, could be wrong on that. They would need some of that magic and then some to pull off a victory this week. The Saints long snapper signed with the U..They just have talent hiding everywhere. The Saints are looking elite as they shut the Generals and win by 40+
  7. Today
  8. Penn and the NIC need to come to an agreement where either they leave the conference in football or allow them to play the JV vs other school varsity teams.
  9. What are these baseball standings!?
  10. Marian (1-1) at SB Adams (1-1) - 21-17 St. Joseph (2-0) at New Prairie (0-2) - Sorry NP but I think SB. St. Joe hangs a tough loss on you. 42- 7 SB Washington (0-2) at Elkhart (1-1) - Elkhart gets back in the win column, wins 49-0 Penn (2-0) at SB Riley (1-1) - Penn has 42 by half, then takes the foot off the gas. 49-7
  11. The one benefit Penn should have going into the playoffs is being able to stay healthy. The O-line against Valpo pressure gave up big hits on Hall, and at times looked a little slow. They sure looked improved against Mishawaka, but that is a hard game to draw any information from. I want to say Penn's O, should be able to move the ball and score, but with the lack of big games on the schedule from here to the end of the season, I still cautiously put them as a potential top 5 team in the North. (this is not a stab at St. Joe or Elkhart) 1- Westfield 2- Carmel 3- Carroll 4- CP 5- HSE or maybe Penn
  12. Bedford North Lawrence Columbus East Floyd Central Brownstown Central
  13. Slightly off subject, why don’t alumni clubs auction off their clubs helmets? Copyright issues?
  14. We had the exact same scheme at Heritage Hills, but with blue flanked by white with red space in-between. Getting those straight and the Patriot man logo "perpendicular to the earhole" but it couldn't be too high or too low was a SOB. Players definitely ran if they had to go ask for another decal. Most would try to peel them off then have them peel off halfway through the season. Fresh decals were only given out before state.
  15. Figure @Titan32 would want this in general conversation not week 3. 😂 @hhpatriot04 “Will North Posey be challenged for the PAC title? Possible contenders seem to be Tell City and Forest Park. Never count out FP to beat the Vikings. Lot of season ahead
  16. They played well last Monday, no doubt.
  17. BNL (1-1, 0-0 HHC) at Jeffersonville (1-1, 1-0 HHC) Seymour (0-2, 0-1 HHC) at Columbus East (0-2, 0-0 HHC) 5A #5/#6 Floyd Central (2-0) at Silver Creek (1-1) New Albany (1-1) at 2A #1/#2 Brownstown Central (2-0)
  18. Thanks. I didn't realize you had red stripe(s)? on the helmet? White-black-thick red-black-white?
  19. Was that sarcasm? I'm not a fan of the clutter. I much prefer this:
  20. People say ND is irrelevant , had that game been against ND the stadium would be full.
  21. Week 3 Schedule BNL (1-1, 0-0 HHC) at Jeffersonville (1-1, 1-0 HHC) Seymour (0-2, 0-1 HHC) at Columbus East (0-2, 0-0 HHC) 5A #5/#6 Floyd Central (2-0) at Silver Creek (1-1) New Albany (1-1) at 2A #1/#2 Brownstown Central (2-0)
  22. At Rochester, you earn your stripes by going to team camp in the summer. It is a stripe that goes down the middle of the helmet. Then during the first two weeks of practice, players slowly earn their English R on the right side of the helmet and their number on the left as they stand out and work hard in practice. The coaches put them on for the players. During the season we give out little white football helmet decals for awards during the week for things such as TD's scored or blocked for, TFL, INT, etc. We even started giving awards out for guys that sprint down the field to celebrate in the end zone with the guy that scored.
  23. I believe Eastern Hancock is 2-0. It looks like you put a lot of time and effort into this, it's really cool. Just giving a heads up for next week if they are 3-0
  24. Believe the last time Judson had a decal was the 70's
  25. I'm really surprised that HH held onto an honorable mention in the Gannett/USA Today Poll. Speaks to their perceived quality of opponent, I assume. I'm all for publicity for Heritage Hills football, but within realism. I'm sure Coach Tempel has employed a few fun drills in practice this week, as to not repeat the same unforced mistakes (namely penalties, special teams, and ball protection)! Glad to see North Posey getting some attention. Gibson, meh. Let's see how they do in the PAC this season before crowning them.
