  1. Past hour
  2. If we are going to seed a tournament (which is what we are basically talking about), do it like wrestling. Lock all the participating coaches in a room and don't let them out until they come up with a list. I think the IFCA would do a much better job seeding sectionals than voting in a state-wide poll.
  3. Yes I am piling on. Yes they are my team; too much history with them and my family to be anything else.
  4. Impressive night for an undrafted free agent.
  5. Much better than polls based on meaningless x-0 records and reputation.
  6. Pick'em selections: It took me a millisecond to see how this week's matchups will go since it's the haves against the have nots. Columbus East @ New Albany This has blowout and a running clock written all over it. Jeffersonville @ Floyd Central This has blowout and a running clock written all over it. Seymour @ BNL This has blowout and a running clock written all over it.
  7. I don't know. Could be marital trouble on the horizon:
  8. I don't know who "Massey" is. And I don't really care about the statistics-lines-gambling trifecta. "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." - Mark Twain (who attributed it to Benjamin Disraeli)
  9. We found a fan of the old playoff points system of the 1980s. 😛
  10. few times and not that it mattered to me in the least bit. NFL is entertainment product No different the many other games when they pan to crowd or this or that. At least the narrative of relationship being a hoax has been put to rest.
  11. Today
  12. Gotta have non conference games to be able to afford to play NA/Jeff.
  13. I agree, they beat Dwenger I’m going to have to call them by their government name…the Spartans…
  14. SIAC Standings Week 5: 1. Memorial 4-0 (-) 2. Reitz 3-0 (0.5) 3. Castle 3-1 (1) 4. Mater Dei 2-1 (1.5) 5. Jasper 2-2 (2) 6. Central 1-2 (2.5) 7. North 1-3 (3) 8. Bosse 0-3 (3.5) 9. Harrison 0-4 (4)
  15. Flawed statistics? Massey is one of the most consistent sites I've found at predicting matchup scores to date. It's pretty wild how close they come almost every week.
  16. LEAKED IMAGE of new Ohio State University Stadium upgrades:
  17. Salty tears from Packers fans:
  18. Current Standings on the TRC picks each week. Small group but a consistent one 😉 Tightendopenagain - 21 Muda - 20 Gonzo - 20 Farmer - Missed your selections from week 4. but... 14
  19. Week 5 Crawford County (+46) @ Mitchell (-46) => This means Mitchell is favored by 46 points. Tecumseh (-62) @ Perry Central (+62) => This means Tecumseh is favored by 62 points. Jennings County (+31) @ Springs Valley (-31) Paoli (+28) @ West Washington (-28) Brownstown (-62) @ North Harrison (+62) Charlestown (-39) @ Providence (+39) Corydon (-21) @ Clarksville (+21) Salem (-3) @ Madison (+3) Scottsburg (+7) @ Silver Creek (-7) Cloverdale (+4) @ North Daviess (-4)
  20. Columbus East (2-2, 1-0 HHC) at New Albany (1-3, 0-1 HHC) Jeffersonville (1-3, 1-1 HHC) at 5A #5/#6 Floyd Central (4-0, 1-0 HHC) Seymour (0-4, 0-3 HHC) at BNL (3-1, 2-0 HHC
  21. Cloverdale (+4) at North Daviess Eastern Greene (-14) at Eastern Pekin North Knox (-17) at North Central Linton (+46) at Vincennes Lincoln
  22. Week 5 Schedule Columbus East (2-2, 1-0 HHC) at New Albany (1-3, 0-1 HHC) Jeffersonville (1-3, 1-1 HHC) at 5A #5/#6 Floyd Central (4-0, 1-0 HHC) Seymour (0-4, 0-3 HHC) at BNL (3-1, 2-0 HHC) Only week during the season where all the teams are playing each other. Pretty sure picks will be unanimous this week so, if the site is down for maintenance issues, it shouldn’t affect anything if we don’t count them.
  23. I think eight football members is enough. You need non-conference games to see where you’re at with the rest of the state.
  24. This probably will never happen but I want 3 more teams added and just do away with Non-Conference games. It could’ve been done with B and C North and Martinsville.
  25. Week 5, halfway through... Covington @ South Vermillion - Not sure what's going on with the Trojans, but they're in trouble. A promising season has taken a turn for the worse. The Junior Visors took care of business against their county rival. I believe they should be able to handle this one. Visors up, or whatever they say now. (Is that a Greg Barrett trademark?) 34-12 Fountain Central @ Attica - The season outlook for the Mustangs is getting a little better. They should roll in this one even without a QB and make it two in a row for Coach Earl. Big trouble in Rambler land. The numbers just are not there for Coach Dean. But they keep showing up some how. 40-8 North Vermillion @ Riverton Parke - The Falcons made it interesting against the Junior Visors. They do some good things. I just don't know if it will be enough against the Panthers. RP can dash out a team's hope pretty quickly. Seeger was the lastest to find that out. 48-6 Parke Heritage @ Seeger - The Woolfs have enjoyed some early season success, but they also haven't seen much competition. They will be tested by the Patriots, who are looking to get back on track. This one will be close, but I like the home team. 34-24
  26. Concordia at Northrop...Northrop is showing that last year wasn't a fluke...Bruins by 30 Dwenger at Homestead...Saints got punched in the mouth pretty good on Friday time to see if they can bounce back through the meat of their schedule. Sparty also needs one bad, a loss here could derail the season, not many win opportunities left ahead of them...BD by 7 Luers at North Side...rough year for Luers, North should handle this one easily but you never know with them....Legends by 25 Snider at Carroll...watching Carroll live last week, they are far and away a step above everyone else in the city...Chargers by 21 Wayne at South Side...I love to see South Side being a fun team, what would normally be a dogfight for the bottom of the league could be a chance for the Archers to be above .500 for the first time since 2009...South by 28
