I ran middle and long distance in HS and college (which the 880 paid for)…….it was never fun…..NEVER.….EVER. I’d much rather been talented at hoops which WAS fun.

Wasn't a question of winning. It was a question of doing it because I enjoyed it that made things fun ... regardless of how hard I worked or whether I won. I ran track as a way of building stamina for football. I hate running and hated every minute of track. Have only played on one team with a losing season in my life ... it was a baseball team in 4th grade I believe. Had more fun losing in baseball than winning in track. I know some folks love running, even with no prizes, but I'd rather miss a bus than run for it.

I love my panties and they never bunch……and the panty color selections are simply incredible. In purple….I…..am…..stunning. As to hemorrhoids, I’ve seen Mammoth Cave stalactites that give me more wishful personal memories. With regards to how players behave today….it’s on us. Yeah, they’re d’bags BECAUSE we’re d’bags. I chuckled about my kid trash talking and taking every “shot” he could get away with in HS and college…including 3 NCAA Sweet 16s and a couple of All Conference college selections. It’s the font of fun stories today. Yeah, I did call him out on ALL of it…but I also let it slide….and chuckled about it behind closed doors. Funny thing is, today, as a business executive, he’d be an absolute hard@ss as to player discipline and sportsmanship. Maybe it will come back around….though I doubt it. Every time I look at the Indiana HS Facebook page touting Jr. High travel teams (some dude from Westfield is the worst, btw) or some other rube touting every QB who plays in HS or Jr. High, I lose hope. I’m thinking the word “humility” has been removed from the lexicon.

Lots of talented players returning conference-wide if I remember correctly. Looking forward to seeing how much production each team is returning. I can say, with a high level of confidence, that BD will be more competitive than Bishop Sycamore was.

In light of the recent police beating of Tyre Nichols, SF is left wondering - WTF were the LEO's thinking? Benefit of the doubt - a "perp" (can't say he was a "perp" since there is no evidence to support that) runs after a traffic stop, and is caught, but then you subdue the guy (as humanely as you can) and begin the arrest proceedings. These guys just beat the crap out of him for no reason. (none that SF can see) 5 black LEO's - and SF was taught by the GID actors a loooooong time ago that a black person can't be racist. I'm not buying that one anymore, cause I can't see any other reason these officers did what they did. They were being no different in SF's eyes than any other run of the mill racist pig white guys to a guy that (maybe) deserved nothing more than a ticket or arrest for fleeing on officer. Prove me wrong.

Last season they played Oakdale (CT) St. Thomas More and Middletown (DE). They also played West Toronto Prep, but since they were ahead 96-0 at half, the game was called.

Sorry. My mistake. I do know for a fact that the MIC schools do enjoy the relationship they have with Carmel, but understand that, beyond football and basketball, Carmel dominates the relationship. Let’s also face the fact that Carmel has dominated these two sports recently as well. The MIC could still wind up winning multiple state titles this school year without Carmel or CG in the conference.

I think the issue schools have run into is that IMG uses these road trips to recruit and poach. I know that the Georgia association, whatever name it goes by, has banned their member schools from playing IMG. Several years ago, the head coach from Westlake Carroll was at the Notre Dame coaches clinic. They had played IMG the previous season and got waxed, but there were also a handful of players from that area that had transferred mid school year to IMG. I am not saying kids don't deserve opportunities, but this seems to be a bit of letting the fox in the henhouse to pluck a few.

The dude couldn't even beat the Little Giants, so what can he do with a bunch of Indians? Oh wait, being told that's another Kevin O'Shea. Never mind. Great hire for TL. At least makes the Hoosier a little more interesting when the Knights visit Monticello.
