For those in the PLAC/MSC world. Steve Matheny a.ka. Clarksville Steve, passed away Sunday. Steve was Clarksville's biggest supporter. He attended almost every Football and Basketball game for the last 40 years. He was also known for making PLAC/MSC Football schedules. The last few years he wore out anyone who would listen that Clarksville should join the PLAC and would probably have what the schedule should be on a napkin or newspaper. It was a pleasure to know him for 6 years. He will be missed!2 points

He's now forgotten punctuation and capitalized the word "education" as if it were a proper noun in his last two responses, but don't let that distract you from the fact that he is the smartest person on the board.1 point

First off my dumb mobile using self just realized I could scroll right and see more. Haha. So here are my thoughts and scenarios regarding MSC/PLAC 1) Will Perry Central ever go to the Pocket? Seems like closer for them and would be fine in small school side. I feel like if they did PLAC could maybe add some of the Southwest schools. Eastern Greene, North Daviess, North Knox all currently play PLAC. If they allowed Crawford to go independent (like they tried a few years prior) the drives wouldn't be much different they are already making. 2) Do Silver Creek and/or Charlestown ever outgrow the MSC? Charlestown recently moved to 4A while Salem and Brownstown recently dropped from 3 to 2. Feels like that conference at times is getting really spread out. 3) Could Clarksville join PLAC? They play WW, Perry, and Crawford. Not sure they really add much but being a former MSC team they fit in nicely. All of this is just strictly football talk. Our conferences haven't changed in like 30 years outside teams adding football. Just all in fun.1 point

I'm confused. Is it November already? I thought it was May with practices still a month away. But this sounds like November belly-aching. I guess there really is no offseason anymore.1 point

Maybe the worst analogy ever … since education is a fundamental right under the Indiana Constitution and, to my knowledge, golf isn’t.1 point

However, as all folks who are impartial know....slotting privates based on enrollment alone doesn't make much if any sense.1 point

Always been our forever home !!!! See you in a few weeks Excited to back home in 2a North, 219 Sectional !!! My Brothers!!! Literally been with HOF Coach Meeks from his 1st game in 1999 when he called a timeout and threw the kicking block back to the sidelines to WIN THE GAME with the 2 pt conversion for Victory with a Chris Yenna Belly if Im not mistaken. Film guy then, paid staff when student taught in 2003, OC in 2024 and counting......... Wouldn't have it another way. Goes for our DC as well, and Varsity Assistant in Coach Stevens, heck he was on staff my SR in 1997!! I've been known to deliver1 point

Monrovia will bring back 6 on Offense and 8 on D, have to deal with Lutheran twice, and the Sectional seems brutal, but if any team can figure it out, it might be Monrovia. Tough schedule througout the year will help build this team. Week 1 vs Greencastle and Week 2 @Linton is always a great opener, then 7 weeks of ICC play. We shall see what the Bulldogs can bring to the table.1 point
