I'd say it's probably the same top 4 teams as last year. I keep waiting for Winamac to make a jump but they still haven't. Judson won't be as good as last year but if they can get a few guys to step up in areas they are losing they will once again be a top team in 1A. They have plenty of size and talent. Look for Pioneer to be a tough out this year. Think this is the year they finally get back to their standards. North Miami had several down years there in athletics but I believe they are now here to stay. They had a solid team last year and I look for them to be decent this year too.

Is week 1 the first week he could "legally" practice? Was he skipping before then? A lot to unwrap when looking at ANY kid that moves/transfers. All programs have had kids move in going back long before I was born (and I'm old!). As long as a kid is putting in the work once he can officially start why should he be punished?

Indeed. A kid that has been playing since 3rd grade flag and doesn't miss a summer practice vs the kid that doesn't show to a single summer workout and has his first full pad practice week 1. I've seen it happen, it shouldn't but it does. This is high school.

North/South All-Star rosters were announced today. Springs Valley's Christian Hamilton will participate as a WR. Brownstown Central's Gregory Hutcheson will participate as a TE. Jorja Lamm from Mitchell will participate as a manager. Congratulations!

Not sure I understand this... Are you saying that the coach shouldn't play the best player they have but play the player that grew up in the school district? If coaches don't win, they get fired.

The new transfer policy is here, whether we like it or not. Please be mindful that these players are still kids. From day 1 when TA created the first iteration of the forum and through this day, attacking kids is unacceptable. People may not like that a particular player has transferred to a school, regardless of the reasoning. Some of these transfers are bound to get some people upset, or even angry. There might even be rumors of coaches recruiting a given player. That is the kind of thing that falls under the rumor policy (when talking about a particular player and/or a particular coach) in place here. Have evidence? Report it. There are avenues to dealing with those things. Bottom line is please keep things clean; stick to the facts. Have a link with a kid that is transferring and where? Fine; that can be posted. But the "I heard..." is still not appropriate or acceptable here.

I got that plus a 1988 Toyota Camry to sweeten the deal. Gibson Southern has already tried that with a girl. Still dating the GS girl, but still at HH....for now...
