  1. Today is the 52nd anniversary of one of the great upsets in college basketball history, as the Irish score the last 12 points of the game to end UCLA’s historic 88 game win streak. This unbelievable game followed 19 days after ND upset #1 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl to win the natty, and I saw both in person. Quite a start to my last semester under the Dome.

  6. A lot of people don’t remember, but the last time UCLA lost a game before Jan. 19, 1974 was … to Notre Dame as well. My freshman year when the great Austin Carr scored 56 to turn away Sidney Wicks, Curtis Rowe, Henry Bibby, et al. I was in attendance at that one, too.

  7. The interception in OT is on DJ Moore. He quit on the route. Not the first time, either.

  9. Going into this game, I thought Indiana’s defense vs. Miami’s offense was a big mismatch in favor of the Hoosiers and the 1st half showed that. I think Indiana’s offense gets going in the 3rd quarter and opens this game up and the Hoosier defense continues to locking down Miami’s offense

  11. Indiana 10 - Miami 0 at halftime. Hoosiers really controlling this game. Feels like the Hoosiers should be up more

  12. The "U" is still acting the same as they have for years! They whine and push and act like they should be given every call! I hope the Hoosiers continue to control the game.

  13. That's good! I had life issues that prevented me from watching all the Game Day. Anyway, a good segment shows the moment the Irish players found they weren't included in the CFP and the aftermath. Good TV.

  14. I already said IU and ND could be #1 and #2 next season. Three thoughts here. 1. IU is being underestimated once again. Sure they lose this guy and that guy, bla bla bla. Cignetti is the key here. He's the best coach in the country and college and high school coaches all over are taking notes. 2. ND will finish the regular season ranked either #1 or #2. It will take an undefeated B1G or SEC team to outrank them. 3. Four SEC teams in the Top Ten compared to three for the B1G is comical. They still haven't learned?

  16. Due to the 1995 Toyota Patoka/Union TIF experation and the "catch up" of the tax base from 1995 to 2025....Princeton finds itself in a unique situation. Even though a new/duplicate TIF is being launched...it won't matter. The catch up on the BASE which now includes all of the Toyota and Anciilary Companies improvments, is going to allow Princeton Community High School to fund multiple bonded projects while at the same time lowering their property tax rate. Princeton Community High School will be doing 40 million dollars worth of projects over the next two years. The "Windfall" Mechanism: During the TIF's life, the increased assessed value (AV) of the Toyota plant and surrounding developments was "frozen" for local taxing bodies, with the tax increment (the difference between base value and new value) going into the TIF to pay for infrastructure. Upon expiration, this full, high valuation is returned to the tax rolls. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1874726316747073/?mibextid=ZZyLBr

  17. We started a Freshman LG from Week 3 thur Week 12 and Sophomore CB from Week 4 or 5 on who replaced another SOPH, but we only have 2 SOPH on team last year, does that equate? 9-3 I think next year we will be starting minimum of 2 if not 3 or 4 Sophomores and Freshman, should I expect a 4 loss year?

  18. The point is that USC came into the B1G knowing exactly what that MOU said, and were (apparently) OK with it. But after a couple of years playing a B1G schedule, they’ve changed their mind. Fine, they’re entitled to do so. But to say they’ve dropped ND because of the language of the MOU is just plain wrong. This move has everything to do with USC avoiding a late season loss, and nothing to do with “preferential” treatment. That’s their choice. But it’s not retaliatory. It’s just USC positioning itself better for playoff qualification. Just because you harbor such ill will toward ND doesn’t’t mean that everyone does.

  19. Correct. I live my life by minding my own business, I implore others to do the same. If Notre Dame doesn't want to join a conference, that should be the end of it.

  20. every team should have an agreement that if they are in the top 12 they make the playoffs you know.... the place where the top 12 teams should be playing.
