FWIW the secretaries are the real unsung heroes of HS Athletics.

It’s solely based on what will drive eyeballs to TV sets.

I would love for somehow BC/BNL to play week 1. That would be a very well attended game. Good gate for both schools.

Although they were not added yet, the Big Ten conference will be scouting the Universities or Oregon and Washington for membership. Although this would destroy the PAC-12 as we know it, our league would only grow stronger. If you can stand the hippies and homeless people (in addition to some whacked out people), bot Eugene and Seattle are great places to see games. Sure, UO has that abysmal basketball court, but their football stadium is rather nice.

I’m with Bob Knight. Penn State should’ve never been in the Big Ten, nor should the next seven teams to get invited. I wish conferences were capped at 10 teams in the collegiate level and at 8 at the high school level. When your conference is so big that you can’t play each other every year then it’s too big. As for your second comment, I completely agree. When that happens, I think I’m done with it.

Someone knows the answer to this. Unfortunately there are over 10,000 coaches, parents, and fans who use read this forum, but only 1% actually post on here.

With four Pac-12 teams headed to the Big Ten, does this open the door for Hobart, Lowell, East Chicago Central, and Munster to the HHC? Just wondering…

So I'm guessing that each AD also has a secretary. That is sometimes like having 6 AD's on the job. Many secretaries could do the job by themselves.

I could not imagine what this guys typical day looks like. I am sure he has many assistant AD's, but he still must be a very organized man. Actually, any of these guys doing both are very busy and organized men.

Adams Central's only roadblock this year will be Blackhawk Christian. Just kidding. With 17 starters returning, is it safe to say that they are the frontrunner to win state? With that many guys returning, my money might be on the Flying Jets to take out Indy Lutheran.

Great explanation IO. What you are saying is demonstrated in this video of Simon Pagenaud and his terrible wreck at Mid Ohio a few weeks ago. I believe almost 7 rolls in this crash. Fantastic head protection and you don't really see him strike his head a ton inside the cockpit. Yet his concussion was so severe, weeks later the Indycar doctors have still not medically released him because of continued symptoms. Incredible video.......

How hideous are these uniforms? It looks like MSU is trying to be the Oregon of the Midwest.
