    Betting on the come means what will come. How many times have you made plans because there’s no chance of rain…..the damn. How many times to we see schools cancel school based on forecast that turn to be a bunch of nothing. I think the term comes from hanging on to a shitty hand in poker thinking you’ll get what you need on the turn.

    In my 59 trips around the sun I’ve learned one thing, NEVER bet on the come, when it involves Indiana weather.

    Farmers around here are watering the hell out of beans as they start to turn. The tore out the dam at Rockford and the East Fork of the White River is damn near dry.

    Moving games is a gate killer. FC may be flush with cash but I assure most schools aren’t. You will also struggle to get officials on Saturdays. Between college, youth, VB, and the fact it’s Saturday. I saw on TV this morning a lot of KY schools are moving games to tonight. Trinity and St X are still schedule for 8:00 Friday night.

    I’m pretty sure I had Highland’s last game at Carmel in the tournament. When Howe closed the first time, had their last game at Franklin.
