  1. My first thought was not being able to imagine riding 9 hours round trip on a bus to lose like that.
  2. A classic example of a public school getting punished for a few great classes.
  3. HSE 45-13 over North Central.
  4. Nope. https://prepstream.net/prepstream-network/?fbclid=IwAR03OF3jABe6vnJ-BvnqbZ4_Jml2B2zgXwnM58YlKz2HF159FdSrNqlr6z8
  5. 2/3 tonight for the HCC as Fishers and HSE roll (42-6 as I type this). BD rolls Avon. 6-2 for the HCC…
  6. Just heard the announcer in the Chatard/Warren game talk about how tough it was for Chatard to open the season against their “#1 rival” last week, lol. Where’d they find this guy?
  7. I’ll play again: Brownsburg Warren Roncalli New Pal Avon Center Grove Carmel Fishers North Central
  8. I take that back. King’s JUNIOR class is LOADED…including a top 20 QB nationally.
  9. Anxious to see if Carmel can chalk two in a row up for the Hoosier state when King (MI) travels south. Some very generic research shows that most publications have King as a top 10 team in Michigan all classes considered. They play in Michigan’s third largest division with an enrollment of roughly 1100. 247’s player rankings bear that out as King boasts just 3 of the top 100 players in Michigan. It’ll be the opener for them also which I think, along with the travel for a Friday night game gives Carmel a big edge.
  10. Common sense states that Westfield is a far superior program to Merrillville based on what happened last year and what both teams return. Just like I stated with the HCC, no one will, nor should, take any 6A program outside of Central Indiana seriously until they win head to head once the weather turns cold.
  11. I am on board with every word of this post.
  12. Strength and conditioning is certainly NOT the problem.
  13. One thing is for CERTAIN...they provided no hydration advantage...
  14. It’s some sort of defensive tradition they have that I’ve never understood.
  15. Hard not to make knee jerk overreactions after one week.
  16. This is a great set of games and I could honestly see all 8 going either direction.
  17. Not an expert. How much of them not sharing film had to do with them not scrimmaging the week prior?
  18. Chatard could’ve held their own last year in this matchup. Taking nothing away from Brebeuf but last week’s score gives me pause the Trojans can hang in this one. I’ll take Warren by 3 scores.
  19. ATTUCKS got EIGHT votes after losing by FIVE touchdowns.
  20. Looks about right. Brownsburg dominated both lines of scrimmage against BD and put the game away in the fourth quarter last week. Cathedral presents a different challenge…and I don’t expect them to give Brownsburg 4-5 turnovers.
  21. Great question. I’m more baffled about ATTUCKS and GREENFIELD-CENTRAL though.
  22. So Avon had roughly the equivalent of its student population and LN had about 4 percent of theirs? Yikes.
  23. And THIS was the year they put Warren on the schedule? Yikes.
  24. The postseason will be a different story, but same outcome. Closer I’m betting. I don’t see the Warriors quitting on Kirschner, though their receiving core did a few times last night. Don’t really see them being beaten by anyone prior to Carmel unless they have an off night.
  25. Would’ve been a riot. As I stated all summer however, no one will take the HCC seriously until it’s done in the postseason. Brownsburg has now taken the last three from BD in the regular season but I’m still hesitant to say the changing of the guard has occurred simply because they’ve flamed out in the postseason on all three occasions. I could be wrong here but that game seems to just mean more to the Bulldogs. I criticized their celebrations after regular season wins in the past but if they don’t have BD’s attention by now, they never will.
