They were definitely late. I remember watching them run from the busses to the locker room to get suited up. I believe they stopped at St. Meinrad for mass, which may have slowed them up too. Those monks can get long-winded.

For Memorial to have a chance the D is going to have to hold MV to less than 31 points. I think we can do that, but we'll need to tackle better than Roncalli did last week. Our D has been pretty stingy, so hopefully we can keep it close and work a little Enlow magic. MV is very impressive though.

Don't you think Tri-West likely has pretty much every game film on GS, just like GS likely has all of them from Tri-West? In this day and age when sharing film is just a click away, I bet every team pretty well knows what its up against.

Was looking for something on the IHSAA website and happened to review the most recent meeting minutes. Apparently the IHSAA is trying to figure out the online ticket fees for the football finals. As it stands, the fees to purchase a $15 ticket will be over $10 per ticket. That might really hurt the gate for casual fans.

A very cool Evansville HS football tradition. This is the only "award" team voted on exclusively by the players, who cannot vote for their own teammate(s).

The atmosphere at Enlow Field is much better on a Friday night than Saturday afternoon.

There was no PF. The call was intentional grounding. And no personal foul. The only penalty on EC's final series was the grounding.

IHSAA isn't going to want to pay travel for all teams to go to a neutral site.

Me too. What the video doesn't show is the ball defected off a shoulder pad or helmet and went straight up into the air 10-15 feet. Bad call, gave them a cheap TO and fluke TD at the same time. Glad we were able to overcome it.

Will be decided next Saturday. I guess the IHSAA isn't doing 2/4/6 and 1/3/5 anymore. If things work out for SW Ind, it might be cool to have 2/3/4 on one day...

Can somebody post the video tweet of the "fumble" that gave EC the TD? I'd like to see what the GID folks think...
