  1. Thanks. When it comes to an IEP, 504, and the Life Skills class I am WAY out of my lane. I was just aware of the Marian Educational Outreach program and the resources provided.
  2. Curious where you looked. https://www.reitzmemorial.org/resource-accommodations I will agree the Life Skills classroom and student count are both smaller than a public school.
  3. I always forget about Bishop Webo and St. Gibson of Southern. Why say "they" when what you really mean is Chatard and Lutheran? And there have been more public 2A champs (Rensy, Southridge, Monrovia, WeBo x 3) than privates in the SF era (Ritter x2, Andrean, Mater Dei, and now Luers)
  4. I'm a fan of Coach McDonald and the program they are building at Providence. They've just run into Indy Lutheran at the regional level. Members of this forum will be happy to know my friends over there anticipate growing enrollment and moving to 2A.
  5. And those were both schools playing up already due to SF. Starting next year, the Indy Diocese is going to consider Mooresville a Parochial school as well. That's the only way beating Roncalli and Brebeuf in back to back weeks can be explained.
  6. I prefer Calpreps just because it includes Out of State games. When you have teams like Gibson Southern or East Central - who bolster weak conference play with strong OOS competition I think it's important to consider. But I really got hooked on Calpreps in the 2017-2021 era if you look at the abundance of out of state games played by Cathedral and Chatard. Almost half of their regular season schedule was OH or KY schools, which never factor into Sagarin.
  7. I had been following the ‘local’ teams in SW Indiana that were playing in state finals - HH, NP, and Mt Carmel. I saw MtC was losing but didn’t see the final score. Byron - enrollment 449 had 54 players (only 4 freshmen) on their roster. impressive. I like the seeding in Illinois, but give me Thanksgiving weekend at Lucas Oil over Peoria, Dekalb, or Champaign any day.
  8. I will say. This game was a heck of a performance by Northwood. First time I have seen them play all year and they were very impressive.
  9. Textbook EC 2nd half drive. 35 seconds and a 5-7 yard run. Rinse. Repeat. Even including an 8 yard QB sneak. But if any team has the athletes to come back it could be NW.
  10. Excited to see if Ringer secures Mr Football with his performance today.
  11. Unfortunately without seeding, the second best team is not always the loser in Lucas Oil. South seemed stronger in 1A and 4A. 2A and 5A it was the north. However it’s all just opinion.
  12. This weekend will not be a clinic tape on knee pad enforcement. I don’t think the FW BL kicker is even wearing any.
  13. Evansville newspaper made a big deal about Coach Schenk and NP running 28 (I forget the exact number) different offensive formations. That seems to be the Vikings best success. The more bizarre the better. Traditional formations and throwing the ball don’t seem to be working against the Luers D.
  14. Luers win the title for ugliest uniforms for the weekend. North Posey may need the officiating crew to let them play defense with 12 again.
  15. On that short punt I heard Chatard yelling "Peter, Peter, Peter!" I didn't know St. Peter was the patron saint of shanked kicks.
  16. I thought the 3A white hat looked familiar. He officiated the Brebeuf - Ev Memorial 3A final in 2017. Six years to the day. Congrats to him and his crew.
  17. AC has their WR’s 4 yards off the line of scrimmage when they go spread. So I’m guessing the answer is no.
  18. Would it be possible to mute Jan Boser’s microphone? Asking for a friend. Please. Stop. Screaming.
  19. AC playing match quarters defensive coverage. Which is a great defense… if you have the Jimmies to match the Joes.
  20. I see that Heritage Hills practiced at Lucas Oil yesterday. Five hour trip for an hour under the roof. Then hopping back on a bus less than 48 hours later for a game. Indy area schools have such an advantage in that regard.
  21. South- because that is where Roncalli and Brebeuf are located. Plus 4A is skewed heavily north. Marion and Muncie Central have spent time in the ‘South’ sectionals over the last few cycles. I think Western (near Kokomo) might have also been south but I can’t remember.
  22. Thanks for finding that. Although that article focused a lot on the ‘fixed class’ set up for basketball, I can see why I missed it. I heard a lot about that proposal and subsequent vote-down and very little about the SF point change.
